Toyota Trucks Fishing Apparel
does anyone here know of a site that sells toyota trucks fishing apparel with this logo (like the clothing that bass pros wear)? i've been searching around the web and can't find one site that sells this apparel. i even been to the toyota dealers and they don't carry anything close to it. any info would be appreciated. thanks.

fishing glasse's What do you use and how much is too much to spend?
i bought a pair of renegade glasses from walmart for like 11 bucks once. the pair held up for about 2 months, so i went back and bought another pair. they didn't make through the first week. anyways; broke down and picked up some "HOVEN" shades (copper lens) for $65 at sport chalet. great shades!!! i could see everything(underwater).

Fishing w/ Team Trucha @ Perris Lake, CA
thanks for the tip. blue stoning is common procedure in many of the lakes surrounding my area. i think the reason why is to limit the summer algae blooms and aquatic plant growth.

Found Lost Crankbait!
friend's pond? i gotta get new friends >. that's cool that you got your bait back. BTW, why were the hooks missing? do they rust out that fast?

Fishing w/ Team Trucha @ Perris Lake, CA
the weeds are out right now, so it's a little difficult for me(being new to bait casting and only fishing texas at the moment). is kind of stranged that the weeds are out, because the lake was bluestoned twice during the end of last year. i've been doing ok on the dam and the marina area "on the fly". bluegills and smaller bass put nothing big enough to report though.

Bassin' in Los Angeles +100 Heat
thanks for the comps. good eyes hidepounder 8-). you're the first angler to notice that the bass in the first pick has a section of it's lips missing. catching bass on the fly does take patience, but it's also the best feeling in the world. lol. you know legg lake too well. i'll sometimes post up my catches on the local site, and when i do, i blur out the background, and don't give the location of the catch when i post. many anglers hate that, but it's helps protect the city lakes from poachers. too many poachers, too little DFG officers. > nope, i haven't fished BBL yet. i might head up there next month for the annual Big Bear Troutfest.

Bad picture for such a big fish

Bassin' in Los Angeles +100 Heat
met up with my buddy(jeff) at the local city lake in the morning to help him celebrate his b-day. we started out with a little flyfishing. it took me awhile to get back into fly fishing mode, but after i got it back i hook into a bluegill, and after that jeff hooks into one. it was cool hooking into bluegills but we were craving for some bigger action. so we break out the bass gear and i hook into the first one while explaining to jeff what a bass bite is gonna feel like. after that first catch the bite went dead so we move to a different location. that's when jeff hooks into his first legg lake bass. it's a little small but a skunkbeater none the less, and now jeff's got the bass itch. we start working the shoreline again and jeff yells "got one!!!" i turn to look him and get a quick look at his rod bent in half and then fling back into it's rested state. line break!!! guys, you should of seen the look on his face. lol so we go back to working the shoreline. by this time the sun's cooking us, so we start shade fishing. a half hour goes by without a bite, and we're ready to call it quits. so i ask jeff if he wants to hit this spot that mrbeans(local angler) says he always catches bass at. we go to the spot and on the first cast i hook into this little pig.(thanks mrbeans:cool:) close up shot all in all it was a fun day on the lake.

Fishing w/ Team Trucha @ Perris Lake, CA
i took Team Trucha out for their first warmwater outing. got to the perris gates at 6am, and met up with Bass Freak and Toyman (Inland Empire locals) at the marina. after meeting up we headed for lot 11/12 for no love. the weeds are are out and choking the shoreline. "morning shots @ lot 11/12" "Team Trucha not sure how to fish for bass" "my pops with Bass Freak and Toyman in the background" "Nickymouse8(my primo) with Team Trucha heading out to the next location" after getting frustrated with the weeds we decided to hit up the east side of the dam(bernasconi) for no love. "bernasconi area " "third stop was at the fishing dock" "my bro-n-law of team trucha lands his first bass" seeing my bro-n-law land his first bass, gave me some hope in landing my first perris bass. the sun was out in full force team trucha was burning out and they decided to call it i day, so i decided to hit the dam where i met up with Bass Freak again. landed my first perris bass on a 4.5" robo (baby bass) texas style" off the dam it was tough out there but i still managed to beat the skunk.

soft plastic worms
i've been having great luck with robowroms. they're really soft and have tons of action, and they last awhile too. i'm able to hook 2-3 bass before tearing or losing the worm. as for the fat roboworms, i just started using them and i'm not liking them to much. they don't seem to have as much action as the 4.5" and 6" robos, plus they seem to tear much easier than the normal ones. good luck on your worm quest, fishiak. i'm surprised too. maybe it's just a socal thing. 8-)

Summer SoCAL

hello from socal
thanks for the warm welcomes i'm about a 1/2hr away from Prado and i haven't been fishing there yet. if i'm heading out that direction i usually wet my line at Puddingstone Lake. FNN has been getting out of control with all the new members on board. i'll post up on there from time to time, but i mainly post up on HUSF (hookupsportfishing). the guys are much more friendlier there. BTW nice avatar. 8-) is that your actual license plate? yeah legg lake has been really good to me lately. i wish i could say the same for "Peck Pit". that place is tough, but i have seen some lunkers come out of there. meeting up sounds cool just set a date and time. i'll be heading out to Fairmont Park in Riverside later today for the evening bite. hopefully i'll leave there with something to report about.

snagging carp
you are allowed to snag fish? that's crazy!!! it's totally illegal to snag fish in california. at my local lake, anglers would get their butts kicked if they're caught snagging by the locals. snagging is a big problem during trout stocking season.

hello from socal
