  1. Can't make it tomorrow, sorry for the last minute back out.
  2. I'd like to join you guys on Sat, I have a crawdad that I can bring, but if there is room on a big boat I'd like take a spot.
  3. Can't beat the Wachusett Reservoir. Here's a map of the gates, there are spots that don't require a long hike.
  4. Sure, why not. I'd like to join.
  5. Clean the shim in the knob, also, I find that sometimes the spring gets over compressed, take the spring out and slightly pull on it rrom each end so it expands a little.
  6. Aluminum vs Graphite body, the Citica will outlast the Caenan. There are a couple of new Citica 200e on eBay with Buy It Now for $99.99 free shipping, and a few in the $70-$80 range with free shipping that close in a couple of days. I've purchased a number of slightly used Citicas from eBay without any problems. Look for reputable sellers that have 99+% feedback. Don't be afraid to ask the seller questions and use a credit card via Paypal with some buyer's protection, don't rely on eBay's Buyer Protection. PM me if you can't find them, I have no affiliation to the sellers. TW should honor the sale if you call in your order.
  7. 5x9x3 is the correct bearing size. I used Boca Bearing SMR95C-2OS #7 LD and successfully changed the bushing to bearing on 4 of my Citica 200E. Make sure that the E Lock and washer, BNT0686 and BNT2144, are on correctly on the end of the drive shaft. If I remember right the bearing is larger than the bushing but still fits in to the cavity. Maybe measure the size of the bearing you received from Shimano see if it is indeed 5x9x3, the label does indicate the correct size.
  8. Any worse than the number All Star Rods and Abu Garcia Revo S that were being auctioned off after the Dick's clearance? It happens, it's eBay.
  9. Red is the first color to disappear under water, so visibility would be an advantage. Big disadvantages is it will look like you just lost a fight to the Kool-Aid Man, the red PP seems to leak and get on everything, hands, reel, handle, but you can't beat $5.
  10. I have one and used it a few times, it walks fairly well. I prefer the X-Rap Walk, seems to walk better than my spooks.
  11. Bomber Model B, love the wobble.
  12. What you can't see is the tattoo on the bass that reads "Berkley Power bait is number 1 for me".
  13. I've tried the Norman Speed Clips but they were too small to work with, I've since switched to Duo Lock snaps to the split ring but from following this thread I will try removing the split rings.
  14. SPRO Bronzeye 65 in Green Tree and Toad for hollow body and Stanley Ribbit for soft plastic.
  15. Bass Pro Laser Eye Pro Series 4x4 Buzzbaits has 2 buzz blades and 2 clackers, but probably not at your local tackle shop.
  16. What size weight were you using? I've been using River2sea tear drop sinker in 3/16 oz with good success.
  17. Palomar knot then bring the tag end through the point side of the hook loop.
  18. I have a Powell Flipping Rod 766 that I purchased this summer and have been pretty happy with it.
