When i started bass fishing avidly, i, with the help of a small annoying primate, bought a little bit of everything in every color, size, and weight. Now it's been whittled down to what i know works best where i fish, which are the same places every time. I never really get a chance to travel and fish new places, which is where i would probably need the other things I bought that i never use. Hence the bait monkey is starving. This sketchy lure swap will be a temporary satisfaction for him.

if i remember correctly, that was what all the fuss was about. someone got the package and kept it too long. went out of town or something. this also happened when we sent around a single lure for everyone to fish with, catch some fish, post some pics, and then send it on. i think the guy i sent it to left it at his house and then went off to college or something. i think thats what i'm thinking about. so it's 10 bucks for each person to send it back out? brushhoggin do you want in on this???????? if not why so many negative post???????? well i'm considering it. it was a question. i'm not being negative. so it must be a pretty big box of stuff if each person pays $10. ok i'm in

I don't know why I didn't think to just ask you instead of posting. I'm going to try to hit Ross-B one day when it's a little warmer like a high of 60-65. I'm going to fish the d**n at Okatibbee Lake here in Meridian soon. if it can manage to rain several days in a row, they'll really open the gates. thats when the stripers go nuts. try and make it down then we'll show em who's boss

....unless we get a 3-4 day warming trend this winter. Had a nice day last Sunday. they all had the typical football shape for this time of year, suitable for enduring the winter. Notice the red lips. I fish here every weekend, and this was the first week i noticed them. I blame the first cold snap of the year, with nights in the low 30's. It's not crawfish, cause bass eat those year round here.

we troll for stripers on the Rez down here with rootbeer bandits. if you're fishing open water, take some binoculars and watch for surface action near and around river channels. Are you going to greneda lake? Fish the spillway there. stripers dig that current. throw bucktail jigs and fluke jr's rigged on a 1oz dropshot as close to the gate as possible and let the current do all the work.
