  1. i fished these alot before i stumbled across this forum a few years ago and started fishing Senko.
  2. this has to be some kind of mistake.
  3. I used it all last summer. I really liked it and i'll spool it up again this season. It's amazingly strong and casts really well. It's really tough to cut. What i'd like to know.. is this a "co polymer line" (because it doesnt use that term on it's package) and what is this lines biggest competition. It's awfully expensive. P-Line makes a co polymer line. I checked it out at BPS and i do not think it is similar to Fireline.
  4. i swing my rod from left to right on a fast retrieve. works really well as the bait gets closer to the boat, it has drastic changes in direction.
  5. thanks for sharing this. i love fishing deals!!
  6. heck yea, thanks a bunch!
  7. i fished lake st clair today, pulled 2 largemouths jigging a chartruse power minnow around my marina. i fished for almost 4 hours though.
  8. I'm a hand switcher as well. I really wish i wasn't, it'll start to irratate me about 1/2 way through the season and i'll switch the handle to the other side of my spinning reel. I can never quite ajust to it and give up. It's so hard to reel in a good sized fish with the opposite hand. I'm also very concerned the switching is going to cause me to drop my rig off a dock or my boat one day. In addition to Jaysons original question, I'd like to know if anyone has ever corrected this habit? Also, has anyone seen any pro's doing this on television? good too be back, it's hard reading this forum in the winter. Pretty mild winter in Michigan. Reguards Tetra
  9. I work at an aquarium fish store. When we have to kill a fish, we put them in the freezer. You probably dont have to freeze them solid. but thats pretty humane IMO. That's what most books recomend too.
  10. i agree with wacky rig. a friend and i were each throwing green senkos. his rigged wacky, mine rigged weedless w/ off set hook. and he caught 4 bass and i caught 1 scrapper bass.
