the one i was looking at is the Mojo bass 7ft crankbait rod

Dose anyone have any experience with these looking for a new crankbait rod and thinking about this one ....

Has anyone tried to take the lexan off the head of a scrounger head jig and paint the head ? Just dont like the look of the bare lead? Or dose anyone know where i can get ones with the heads painted already?

I don't know about the swept handles .

Thinking of drawing up a few handels to cut out on my cnc mill out of carbon fiber .. How many people think they are worth it and or would be intrested in some ..going to do CF handels and alinumium let me know what you think .... So I was at Gander about two months ago, got a new E21.Been a great rod till about three days ago and the Hook holder broke off when i was putting my spinnerbait to it. I called the Summit Number expecting to get a rash of sh!*, but the complete oppisite was the case I told he what broke she said ok let me generate a claim, took about 1 min. she then told me she would connect me to a automatic machine to finish up my claim. The auto machine told me my item was to large to ship back and they would be sending me a Gander Mtn gift guard for the price of the rod including tax. So for 9.99 the price of my protection plan. I got a new rod and got to keep my old one. I guess you can get a protection plan on anything at Gander Mtn.

I have a chance of getting some large spools of florocarbon. They are 800yd spools. Has anyone had any troubles getting large spools of line, and having it "go Bad" or have "breakage" issues after it staying on the master spool for a long time ? Its the end of the season, I was going to get it now so it would sit for the next 6 months and probly take me two months to go through it all. Any advice would be helpful.

ONE it was on a braid hookset . But the best part of this topic is there is 4 pages of replys. and 95% have said no broke rods ..but when the topic of Carrot sticks comes up and there is three pages of replys on how people broke them on the hook set ...just found it funny

OK so I have been looking to increase my stock pile of tungsten weights...What i was wondering is dose everyone really think the color of the weight has really made a huge difference in there catch or bite ratio???..I mean can any one think of a situation where you where fishing with a Black weight and switched to a red one and it made a huge difference?

Has anyone tried these yet? They are a great idea. I just wonder about the pound test rating VS the size? Are they going to be alot bigger then their Metal counterparts? Check them out

OK so I'm having trouble with my split shot breaking off right at the sinker ...I'm using Berkley 100% floro in 10 to 14 pound test ...So i don't think that is the problem ....i check my line often for nicks and fraying ...and its not the problem ..it breaking off and I'm getting the sinker back just nothing else ....its breaking off right behind the sinker on the lure side. Any one else having this problem or is it just me ?????
