My used very littl hand held Lowrance H2O GPS has decided it doesn't want to work anymore, so I'm in the market for an "affordable" combo unit for my boat. Any suggestions you guys might have would be helpful. I'm just a club tourney guy with an average boat, so I don't need to spend a forturne, just want to get an adequate unit that will last a long time. Thanks for your help.

Most of the time the water is stained with about 18" of visibility

Looking for help with deciding on which trailer to use? Which to use for brush piles and what kind to use for other situations? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to know what the normal clarity is for this lake? Not heading up that way to fish, just want to compare to another lake. Thanks, Bryan

There is a ledge in this cove I fish regularly. We have placed trees on the edge of this ledge and towards the bank. Ledge is about 50 yards off shore in 11-12' of water, dropping to 17-18' of water. There are fish right on the ledge and suspended over it. Water temps this weekend were about 51 degrees. Farther back in the cove near som rip rap, the ledge is shallower from about 7' dropping to about 11'. This ledge has over it the entire length of the cove. What is the best way to attack it?

Thinking about pitching a senko and have a few questions. Spinning or baitcaster? What kind of hook to use? Swivel or no swivel?

Is there a year round jig bite, and if so what are the patterns for each of the 4 seasons?

With the heat we've had in the south, what will the break in the heat do to the fish?
