  1. Robert, I PM'd you a few weeks ago and called. I think I have a wrong number for you. Anyway..doing Lox in the morning.
  2. The National Champs will come from the SEC.....again....Guaranteed! It's where the big boys play! I'am taking L.S.U.
  3. How about we get together in the morning at Lox. The bite is better there than anywhere else right now. Most of the canal fisheries are running hard, but Lox is normal. I was thinking sunrise to 12-1. Anybody up for it? I put sunday the 20th in the title...I meant sunday the 21st....
  4. No I was just running upwind and drifting down.
  5. He's been on a hot streak!
  6. That last one is a Pig!
  7. The reason I'am not 100% sure is that the "Boga" model 130 Scale only weighs in 1/2# incriments. It was more than 6 but less than 6 1/2. Since I do not tournament fish I rarely weigh fish. Just keep it around in case I get a world record snakehead.
  8. Just in case yall don't look at the "Tournament/Outing" section. I fished Loxahatchee Preserve yesterday solo. Came with two baits only, a frog and a swim worm. The frog tricked four bass. One was 6+ and another was the smallest bass i ever saw at Loxahatchee. The weather was pretty sketchy and a lighteing bolt hit the grass and it was on fire when I left.

  10. Caught 3 bass on top. One was 6+ #'s. Fished from 4-6. Weather was nasty all around me but never came across me.
  11. Anyone want to fish tomorrow afternoon at Lox? send me a text or call 239-214-1778 Shane
  12. This was edited for my Youtube channel. I was not going to post this one since I gave mention to my fishing service. I was using a handpoured JD'sCustomBaits frog.....any frog should work. Before I started using these frogs I was using a Zoom Horny Toad. They work very well too. I still use the Zoom Horny Toads if I have clients using a spinning rod, since they are considerably lighter and softer.
  13. Bloody thumb! Congratulations.
  14. Very nice ..I like the one across your chins. Great shots!
  15. Hey fellas I just fished two of the last three days in the glades. With all the fresh water covering the grass...the topwater bite is on fire. I have been concentrating on areas that have moving water, grass, ledges and areas where the water is backed up and funneling through cuts. 95% of the fish came on a plastic frog. Busted a couple of 5+ pounders in standing grass. These bass were following hard leaving big wakes(like a redfish) before tracking the frog down for the kill. Frogging is by far my favorite bait and most productive, especially in the cover. I'll be fishing Loxahatchee and Sawgrass next week for sure. Go get em!
  16. Nice mix of fish. Good job!
  17. Cool colored fish.
  18. Looking forward to seeing it Steve!
  19. We finally have running water in the lower part of the everglades. I use a frog year round, but the summer downpours usually lead to some pretty good topwater action. Today I had determined that I would concentrate on frogging. Caught a dozen bass in an 75 minutes and missed that many. Lost the biggest to an alligator. Hindsight being 20/20 I could have backed off the fish and he would probably would have gotten away. Nothing big but it always fun to hit em on top. I used a spinner bait on a couple of them as well. I used a Shimano Cumara 7-2 med/hvy with a Shimano Curado 200e7 w/40# Suffix 832 braid.
  20. fantastic fish. Wacky rigged is a killer most of the time.
