BigM baits story
A friend/customer of mine that I had painted some big M shallow divers for were fishing a local lake this past week. He makes a long cast to a point and hooked up with a BIG fish. I thought at first he had hooked a good smallmouth but, it turned out to be a 16lb rockfish. The fish made several good runs and stripped alot of drag from his Curado but we finally got him to the boat after 20 minutes. The fish pulled the front split ring/hook completely off the bait, and almost did the same to the rear hook. The bait was completely unharmed or altered. Hook hangers were still perfect. Alot of your balsa baits are very fragile but, Marty's baits seem to be as durable as my plastic baits. Get a few of his baits and give them a try.

Dam Yankee, if you do send it to some........I recommend Nichols outboard engineering. http://www.nicholsoutboard.com/ Just give Paul a call and talk to him. I can assure you that it will be right when it leaves his shop. They will find out what caused the failure. To me it looks like a locater pin came out but that is just guessing from the photos. I think you should be about to get the engine built for about $2500- A few more cranks
Great looking baits. I sure like the paint job on the bottom one 8-)- This week's batch

I am pretty sure that those eyes come from ebay store 3deyesdirect http://cgi.ebay.com/best-3D-lure-eyes-500pc-holographic-hard-eyes-/170464066238?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27b0733abe- Couple new patterns
Spotted shad Dark bluegill Perch Baby bass......not new but, thought I would include it anyways- Mann's -1 crank
I have noticed this with the new 1-minus baits. The ones that run wide but, straight back to the boat are the older models(made in the U.S.A. models) with 1-minus molded onto the side of the bait. Only difference I can find is that the line tie on the older ones is farther away from the bait. Some of the new ones I have will try to run on their side, plane off, and do all sorts of stupid stuff even when I hold the rod tip down.- some transfer colors
Nice work there. It can be frustrating matching certain shades sometimes......you nailed that one for sure- some little ugly critters
very nice work there - 1999 200 EFI powerhead rebuild
