nice looking baits......I might have to get a few of those in the 4th pic down
  4. Good read there! IMO being a lure painter......there are no ''secret'' lure patterns. Its all about coinfidence. Alot of times the more detail that I put into a bait, the more coinfidence a customer has in the bait. Then inturn, they fish the bait so much better and are more ''in tune'' with it. Just my opinion
  5. Big M's Some deep little n's new blueback herring new tequila shad
  6. I throw them around milfoil on guntersville but, they will catch fish around hard cover as well. I have done better just keeping a steady retrieve but, I do keep it between the surface down to about 1.5' under on the retrieve. I throw a gamakatsu weighted superline hook (6/0) with the screwlock......1/4oz. model. I have found that this weight keeps the bait running nice and straight and won't let it plane off when reeling close to the surface. I throw it on a 7'6'' kistler flipping stick with braid. If I was going mono or flouro I would go with 17-20lb test. Hope this helps

The dye can't penetrate the metal. I would think from the factory that the red hooks are anodized.
