ok guys, heres the deal. My family has decided to rent a houseboat for 3 or 4 days this year on smith mountain lake. Ive never been here but ive heard a lot of good things. Basically im here to ask what are some good lures/tactics there for the summer (because it will be a long 3 or 4 days if im stuck with my family and out there not catching fish lol) thanks

my little brother (age 5 or 6 at the time) and i were fishing in a boat at a local lake. He got his mr twister hung on a rock. He cried and didnt want to break it. I went swimming for that little twert lol.

i have saw a few old guys at the local catfish pond spraying in on worms. The absolutely slay them..... With that being said, i dont do it do to pollution reasons. But it does seems to work for catfish; not sure about bass

well, i dont know if we'll be using live bait just because its getting pretty expensive. But i was planning on throwning some tubes, grubs, and maybe some shallow cranks. you think that will do?
