Honestly, how often do you catch your limit when you go on a fishing trip? I just started bass fishing 2 years ago, so im far from a pro. for me, id estimate around 20% of the time....

do you use trailers on hair jigs?

ok, i know to fish them slowly, but i have a question about the size of the jig you use. do you want a small or a large presentation in cold water (around low 40s)? also, with your trailer, do you want something with a lot of action like the rage craws, or maybe something a little more subtle? thanks guys!

ok guys, im fishin sunday. the lake is slightly stainted. water temps around 48. The lake is VERY rocky. and im talkin huge boulders in some places. But the weather is going to be terrible. Its supposed to rain all day. so any advice??? lures??? or asnything else ???? thanks guys!

guys, from the bottom of my heart i want to that you all.... we caught 5 largemouth and my friend who is leavin caught a 4 lb 5 oz one on a red eye liples crank... we had a great time, it was a beautiful day, and a lot of fun.... thanks again!

with water temps in upper 40's and clear. would throwing a shakey head be worth a try?

ok my best friend is gettin ready to go to bootcamp and we are going fishin this weekend at a local lake before he leaves. We will be bank fishin because we have no boat. The water temp will be in the upper 40s. The temps are suppose to warm up and be around 60 this weekend. But the lake is really clear. What lures/tactics would you use if you were us. I realize our chances arent great... its not really about the fishing, but if we catch one its a bonus Thanks

hey guys. Im fishing a very small river near my home (just trying to settle cabin fever lol) But the river, or probably creek, is only about 20 yards wide. The water is pretty clear and water temps are in the mid 40s. Yjere are only small mouth in the water. I went today and caught 2. One on a tube and one on a mepps in-line. The fish in the river are pretty small... Do you guys have any other ideas?

ok, west virginian here haha. i currently live in charleston, wv (about an hour from huntington). There are lots of good places to fish in WV. For small mouth fishing, the New Rive and the Patomic River are good choices. The Kanawha and the Ohio also offer solid river fishing. As far as lakes go, by far, the best is Stonewall Jackson lake. VERY nice lake. If you have any questions about fishing or anything else, feel free to PM me and I'll help out the best i can.

how do you know what size spinner to throw? does it depend on current? how deep you want to fish? im clueless thanks guys

Guys, this is probably a stupid question, but its something that confuses me. Could you guys tell me what type of rod works best for certain types of fishing. For example, use a medium action rod for shaky heads, use meadium-heavy rods for flippin, etc. I tried to find an article on this, so if i overlooked it, feel free to post a link.
