Favorite Rod Company
No, they would just have to have a favorite rod company that they use. Then they simply select that rod company. I didn't mean "favorite out of the above"

I need A New Spinning Rod=Which Of These 3 ?
I have a Voltaeus and love it, its not heavy and its very sensitive. If by "whippy" you mean not a fast action, then yes, but it casts FAR and VERY accurate. Yall prob wont believe this, but this summer i engaged in a 1 and a half hr fight with a cownose ray using my voltaeus meduim spinning. I caught it by accident while tog fishing. The rod was doubled over, and held up perfectly. About those guides - I stepped on one and smashed it flat. Simply bent it back. With a lifetime warranty, that rod is one of the best $40 bucks ive ever spent.

Shimano Voltaeus. Any others that I should be looking at? I was thinking of a $ 80 to $120 range.

I need A New Spinning Rod=Which Of These 3 ?
I think that the Mojos are made in Mexico, not USA. From what I hear, and I haven't actually used any of these reels, people really like the Bucoo's. But the St.Croixs probably are sweet. I have an old St.Croix and LOVE it. I wouldn't touch anything with the BPS name on it,reels included.BPS stuff is all made in China. The Mojo's are decent rods,MADE IN USA, a bit ill balanced but thats to be expected at the price point. It has the Fuji Reel Seat, but not Fuji guides,Batson I believe. The BuCoo has EVA grips which I don't personally like, but thats subjective, and is also MADE IN USA.Probably an Aluminum Oxide Fuji Guide. St. Croix of course is a good company,so is Falcon,,kind of a toss up,one is probably no better than the other.

Ultra Lite rod
Pretty sure "micro light" is like the model ( like pro qualifier). I think the actions are from light to ultra light. idk about micro light. But i also believe that the bps rods are fiberglass. Ive had cheap rods and reels that have the bps name, and ill never make that mistake again. But other guys like them, so go figure. I really dont think you can go wrong with the Gander mountain rods, though.

Ultra Lite rod
Ive never had a Bnm pole, but ive heard nothing but GREAT things about them, and I am looking to purchase one soon. They sound like a great option for what you want. A ultra light rod that I have that i would highly recomend is the Gander mountain 6' or 6'6" ultra light rod for a great all around pole for $30. Sensitive and durable, ive caught many crappie and gills on it (and its taken some abuse). I dont think that you can go wrong with either rod.

panfishing secerts discoverd!
I agree if you are trying to catch tiny gills. But try targeting large (10" plus) gills only, and it is quite a challenge!

All around casting rod, Vendetta vs Bucoo
i would support America and buy Bucoo, but ive never held the bucoo. ive held many falcons, though, and they are sweet!

What is this?!
yes!!! i wish i could have found that picture! ;D
-
What is this?!
You will note while the metal ontop and below it is gray, this piece is almost black, and is probably made out of plastic.
-
What is this?!
Its not labeled on that picture. You can see the roller on the back right attached to the bail. The part below the roler attached with a screw
-
Best Fluorocarbon?
Seaguar or Momoi's.
-
What is this?!
I think you may have misunderstood, but my description stinks. I mean the part that guides the line into the bail, not the bail itself.
-
What is this?!
On a spinning reel, what is the part that is connected to the bail, flips, and guides the line into the roller?
-
anyone use the gulp alive products?
they are awesome.
