  1. Whats everybody's favorite brand 3.5-4" tube? Want to give tubes a good effort this year and wondering what brand you guys like the most. I'm mostly looking at how flexible the tentacles are, those seem to be the best from what i've found.
  2. 6.4 for sure, i personally don't care for the burners
  3. Froggin will require a different rod, but for topwater i'd go with a 7 or 7'6" M or ML. I throw topwater on an avid 7'6" ML with 14lb fireline and LOVE IT
  4. Exceler for sure! I've got 3 of them and love them with no issues in the last 2 years
  5. Forgot to add that if there is any rod under $200 you'd like to suggest to me, go for it!
  6. I'm looking to buy a new chatterbait rod for the year, and am looking for a little help from those of you that have hopefully at least held or used some of these rods. I've got it narrowed down to powell 683c, kistler magnesium ts 6'9, the falcon cara T7 6'10 MH, and finally the vendetta 6'9. Since i live in wisconsin i haven't been able to ever put my hands on any of these rods except the vendetta and i wouldn't buy the vendetta if it was $50, just felt like junk to me. Which would you chose out of the bunch? Which have you used? All opinions welcome!
  7. Wow, as a walleye tournament angler, i can tell you there is no better treble hook (except size 8 L374 eagle claw) than triple grips. Now for bass you'll find the normal grips have too think of wire hook and bend too easily. For bass i'd recommend the ultra point grips. These hooks have better "holding %" meaning the fish simply stay hooked due to the shape of the hook. P.S. to previous poster, wanna send me some triple grips??
  8. I'm using a BPS pro qualifier 7MH and an energy Pt burner for the reel.
  9. Hey guys, longtime lurker and this will be my first post! Anyway what line are you guys using to throw swimbaits (money minnow/sexy shad style)? I used 20lb P-line CX last year, and liked it but was thinking of going to braid this year. I"m just afraid of there not being enough give when the fish inhales the bait. Your thoughts and comments are appreciated.
