  1. I have a carrot stix that's the cranking model. It has a parabolic action. The thing that i was wondering is if you can use it for other things besides just cranking. I know that the action of the rod helps in cranking but if i was to use it for some other things what would be good techniques
  2. I am in the process of restocking my tackle bag and i wanted to see whay yall think about soft plastics. What are the colors of plastics that work for you. I am a shore angler as well as a college student so what are the proven colors and baits. I need to make sure what i have will catch fish and not waste space or money on things that i wont use.
  3. I just broke my carrot stix rod and I am sending it back to get a new one. I am looking to get a rod thats good for light line and small baits. I would like something that i could use as an all purpose finesse rod. Small worms, small jigs, wacky rig, shakey head,(maybe drop shot) i know one rod is not the best for all of these but im in college and the wallet is tight. Your help would be much appreciated
  4. i have a cranking carrot stix in seven and half foot with a parabolic bend. i have found my self doing less and less cranking. i was wondering if i could use this rod for some other kind of purpose or is the parabolic action going to hold me back. Help me out with this one. Thanks
  5. Thanks for all the help. Just to clear up stuff I'm looking for a mid range rod that is Like a multi purpose it wont just be sitting in the trunk it will just be better to carry around rather then my carrot studs

  7. I was wondering what are some of the pros and cons of having a two piece rod. Right now all my rods are one piece but I am looking for a nice rod I can keep in my trunk just in case I have that urge to wet a line. Any advice would help alot
  8. man i wish i could afford twelve rods. i am in college and five setups it the best i can do.
  9. i was just wondering what other people use out there. I would consider myself a weekend angler and i do alot of shore fishing. i just want to see what people are useing and whats there basic setups for fishing. My setups 7ft 2 in carrot stick with david fritts cranking reel 7ft skeet rod for spinnerbaits and worms 6ft 7in carrot stix spinning rod for all soft plastics also a couple other bait casters that i pretty much use with everything from jigs to top water and such. let me know what u guys got out there
  10. i live in jersey and there are not many shops around me. I have to drive two Hours to the closest BPS just to get to a Nice store. i wish there was a closer one
  11. I love the fritts Cranking reel. it fits perfect in my hand and can cast any size crank a country mile. And it also looks d**n good on my crankin carrot stick. It just sucks BPS doesnt sell them anymore.
