  10. bending the wire on spinnerbaits can be kinda tough, anyone know a way to make it easier? also, what what swivels do u recommend, i want to swap them out for the stock ones...
  11. my favorite is the 3.5 bass magic (luck E strike) in baby bass color, that thing is a fish catching machine! its the only swimbait i have full confidence in... im not saying that bigger swimbaits dont catch fish, cuz they do, but i use these little guys as search lures, i went through ten of them in 8 hours
  12. wish wisconsin had some heat! all the lakes are frozen solid, tons of ice, we can probably already drive on them now...
  13. i like hollow frogs better, but with the elaztech hard legs frogz i think these floating little critters will become my new favorite slop lure...

  15. i am buying a finnesse outfit, and am curious as to what line i should rig it with, i dont catch big bass(its hard to admit it haha) , or fish heavy cover, so i think i could get away with some pretty LIGHT line, haha, whats your input on my line dilema?
  16. 2010 is it! its a the start of a new decade, so lets all celebrate by going back to what turned us on to bass fishing! that means im throwing rapala original floaters, and every available soft plastic rigged weightless! who is with me!? and what will you be throwing this year!? ;D
  17. im not an expert on big bass, but that bass looks to be 5-7 lbs..... its funny when ppl guess the weight then double it.
  18. i have fished for bass as soon as the ice is out,sometimes there is still some on the lake, even before the season starts, hush hush

  21. i bought a bag of these recently, because i was very curious about them, they do seem a little stiff, but i dont think it will make too much of a difference...all the ones i have seen come two per pack

  23. i recently bought an interesting crankbait called a brush baby... its by luhr jenson... it looks retro, and very unusual...i am wondering if any1 has tried these, maybe know the diving depth? and if this is a good lure? :-?
  24. you can easily fill your tackle box with the berkely powerbait power packs, which come in a jig&chunk package, a T-rig package, A drop shot package, a sakey head package, and some other ones, i got them at gandermountain for $3, and they work great.. they all come with hooks and sinkers... id also get at least three different packs of senko style worms(cuz they are just the stuff) and at least one topwater popper, and a walker...some trick worms, and a few tubes, a few chigger craws, and some extra worm hooks, and a couple of random crankbaits.... sounds like good fishin to me!
