questions about berkley crazy legged chigger craws
i use the 4 inchers with AWESOME results, i went through a pack in two short outings, and i catch bass half the size of what you catch, dont think they wont hit it because its 4 inches, i had bass from 6-18 inches nailing this lure....my favorite color is black neon (black red flake) now i have a question, if crawfish are red, then how come people use black/blue all the time for jigs and craws and not black/red??? i mean there is no, blue crawfish crankbaits on the market?

What color do you use for...
i try to find a trailer that matches the skirt in one way but is opposite in the other way, ex. for a blake and blue skirt, ill use a brown (opposite) with blue flake (matching) trailer

Why not steel?
i use steel for C-rigs because they click and it doesnt really matter how big the sinkers are, plus im much more willing to lose a couple really big steel sinkers, than a big tungsten one.

Does anybody else use bps hooks
yes, and to further what roadwarrior said, in my opinion even the "crappy" stock hooks are somewhat sharp when i get them, i always use a crankbait once or twice before exchanging the treble hooks to get a little more for my money.

Rapala flat raps
thanks, i was also was thinking about getting it, i love using the Original floater, how much do these weigh? enough to cast on baitcasting tackle? unlike the o.f.

Gander Mountain Brand Plastics?
yeah GM plastics are great and i like their craws, theyre highly detailed, and the trick sticks are one of my favorite of the senko-lures, i have also used their beavers with great success, in fact i am down to one left, and need a new pack 8-)

Superstions?
if im fishing, and its above 40 degrees outside, and i see some weeds, i HAVE to fish with blackie (my all black spro bronzeye jr.) HAVE TO! i might try a different frog first, but if that doesnt work, im still gonna fish with blackie

New world record?
yeah, that does seem kinda funky, but on the other hand manabu kurita caught his bass with i think it was 25lb line and the igfa states that a record largemouth has to be caught with 20lb or less, well first i think thats a dumb rule, in my opinion, i still think that manabu kuritas bass should be #2 and perrys shouldnt even be on the list. i think that mac weakley's monster should be considered the world record, FOUL HOOKED OR NOT! 8-)

Wave Fishing 4" Tiki Tube
i have used the tubes and was pretty satisfied, even though i paid 2.49 for mine > haha, but i liked them because they seemed to fit the gap between my smaller tubes and the bigger flipping tubes, i feel that these can be used for both. 8-)

Tube Questions??
when i bought my first tubes i found long shank straight hooks and fished them wightless with an exposed hook, worked great, caught tons of little bass and a few nice ones, built my confidence in these lures by a long shot, now i catch the nicer bass by Texas rigging the bait and slowly hopping and crawliong it across bottom, once you find a good looking spot, slow down and shake that tube in place like a shakey head!!

Strike King 6xd

Which one would be a better choice for me?
dude, it doesnt rain in wisconsin, it SNOWS in wisconsin, i say go cheap with the musky gear, since you dont have any good muskie lakes near you, you probably wont use it alot, that way you can get both faster

Worst time hooking yourself
ill tell you my favorite time being hooked! ok so i was shore fishing when i was about 12, and i had 2 crankbaits with me, a deep diver, and a shallow diver... i started with the deep diver, and my knot came undone, so i casted out my shallow diver and retrieved it. i preffered the deep diver so retied that one, and didnt want to stop fishing, so i hooked the SD on the leg of my shorts,it came off when i walked through some thick weeds, it took me 1/2 hour to realize it... so i walked the lake shore back and fourth looking for it...couldnt find it then my sister(my ride) decided it was time to go to "the other spot" on my way to the car... $H!T i lightly hooked myself in the leg, what was it? my Shallow Crankbait! ;D ;D ;D ... the best part was that later that day, i was fishing that shallow diver, i caught my first walleye! i was happy, but now i get P1$$ed evry time i catch a walleye, they get in the way of some good bass fishing! ;D

my spring arsenal.
these are my lures im going to use when their is still ice on the lake!! but as the water warms up a little, i will add frogs and swimbaits, i do have some spinnerbaits i was planning to use, they wouldnt fit! haha ;D i had a 3/8 dbl willow brown one, a 1/2 once bleeding shad dbl willow, a 1/2 once white/chartruese dbl colorado, and a 3/16 bluegill colorado/indiana.....i plan on using the hand pour worms for shakey heads and dropshots... also i do have a red lipless crank, top right. 8-)

Terminator Jigs
i personally like them, i bought some finesse jigs that were on sale, they have a two-strand wire weedgaurd that i really like! ;D i have also tried the tiny T jig, its another finesse jig, but this one is very heavy and compact compared to the finesse jigs, the Pro's top secret jig makes a good flipping and casting jig, but the rattles might break off,,, i really like the skirts on the PTS jig and the finesse jigs, they have small bumps on them that give them a texture, and the color choices are great ;D ;D i reccomend them, but if you can find the berkely jig powerpack, it comes with a bunch of chunks and a heavy, compact football jig,,, get that, i didnt have any confidence in jig fishing until i tried that jig, its got a standup head with a short, thick round rubber-silicone strand combo skirt, it is my favorite lure, i treasure it... ;D
