  1. im looking at the ad right now. its in this months issue of bassmaster. its called RC2 with the 2 raised up as an exponent. from what it looks like in luckEstrikes blurry add, the lure looks extremely similar to the original RC's
  2. What moving baits do you throw in clear, calm water? i take a 1/8 or 3/16 ounce Terminator finnesse jig(best jig in the world) take the skirt off, and put on a small swimbait= >3 in.
  3. ive read about this, it sounds a little far fetched, but its true.
  4. http://www.wavefishing.com/Overstock-Sale-Area_c_56-4-3.html (lots of plastics for $2 a pack)
  5. i cant go until May 7 > > > > > > > > > > > > sighh
  6. you wanna compete with this?
  7. i always thread mine, even the chunks..it makes more sense to me
  8. how does that work for ya? does it act any different than mono? My lure sits lower in the water, but not submerged. It gives it a bit if a different action and it works for me. I've also just let em' sit there and i've never had a lure "Sink" under the water. this sounds really interesting i will definately giveit a try...in twenty years when my 6 feet of ice thaws >
  9. how does that work for ya? does it act any different than mono?
  10. Obviously, there are no set in stone rules to fishing, but im talking about the things that you here and for the most part seem to be true... example: i read and seen tons of videos on spinnerbaits that say, use a nikel blade in clear water and a gold in murky. So my objection is that my lakes have no silver forage and that a gold blade looks alot more like a blugill than a silver one! (btw the blugill around here are mostly sand colored). anything like this you guys do or notice or whatever?
  11. it was almost -40 a couple days ago over here
  12. maybe jackall's new softplastic bed bluegill? it looks awesome
  13. I want to work on the two extremes: i want to dominate (small bait) finnesse tactics-with lures down to an inch, and to work on using larger lures to catch some bigger bass(this one i might have trouble with) ;D
  14. i see what your saying, and if thats what theyre getting at than they can just go ahead and change the Angler Of the Year title, because thats not what it is anymore..... maybe have an Angler Of the Year in the older traditional fashion, and another "post season" title?
  15. im going to buy some flick shaking heads and worms to add a new finnesse technique to my arsenal, what do you guys think is the best head, there are tons out there, and is the original flick shake worm the best? which worms work best?
  16. it comes with vmc hooks...thats good enough for me, and when hooks get dull i just sharpen them, it ts almost as good and saves me tons of monnney
  17. yes it is legal, and i have not tried it yet, BUT i have a scaled down version on an ice fishing rod for panfish, going to try it on saturday it is illegal to fish with more than 3 hooks, baits, or lures.
  18. the waters i fish are almost always pretty clear, so the lipless crank's rattles are a big turnoff... i cant get a fish on one, though ive tried many times... i figure if they dont rattle, then i can get a compact, subtle, power-finesse hardbait, that can cast a mile. so how can i accomplish this? thanks in advance ;D
  19. i would really not add a species to any body of water...once upon a time someone thought that asian carp would help reduce algae in lakes... enough said ofcourse asian carp were a species not native to america-but, basically same concept here, dont add a species to any body of water; if the pond is near a river, the river could flood, and boom new species in the river, possibly to take over a native species...
  20. oh yeah, i cast the 78's alot farther with spinning than casting gear; go with spinning... cant help you with the triple joint
