ill pretty much throw anything, im really excited to try smallswimbaits this year

ive been rigging a 2in. artificial minnow on a 1/32 jig head and just DEADSTICKING IT! let it just sit there (out of your sight, if you see them-they see u) they should hit it pretty quick.. under 30 whole seconds if the water is moderately clear.

deadsticking is an absolute killer tactic!

my best jerkbait is a LC pointer 78 real skin idk if the genuine fish skin on the lure makes a difference, but it was on sale so i said okay, and I'll use that when i cant get a bite in 30 min and i want to fish fast, (otherwise its a finnese worm)... never tried an xrap, the husky jerks arent too bad, but arent too good either(mine floats a tad)

i like this one alot also saw one on here that said "shiver shad" thats a pretty sexy name as well

i was fishing from shore and was nailing tons of little bass on a weightless trigged trickworm on my spinning outfit, i decided to put a trigged powerworm an my mh baitcaster, first cast big bite, 2 1/2 pound fish (very big for the little gravel pit i was fishing) reeled it in and it went through the air, and went behind me, doubled the rod the wrong way and snapped it (this was the day after i had broken my other casting rod during a cast) in a second i went from extreme happiness, to extreme sadness, and then into rage... after i unhooked the fish, i grabbed it by the lip and threw it as far as i could into the lake...dumbest most childish thing i have done...

i guess ill give it a shot, if i by some swing of luck catch my pb i may have a chance....(fat chance) ... but im in anyway!

i have a couple, the strike king lures i have come with junk hooks, but im not wasting extra cash on more trebles, so first i sharpen the stock hooks myself use the stock hooks for a while and when they get dull, i swap them out for whatever i feel like spending on for whatever style of hook i need, brand isnt important. I only have about maybe 6 or 7 hardbaits that i use alot, among them are a few lc's ( no exchange needed) and others which i swap out the back hook with a sureset hook. i dont care what other people say about vmc, its sharp enough for me.

nice! that half breed carp is really interesting. I've never caught a carp, looks like a ton of fun!

hmmm myself, i'm always scanning the internet, reading magazines and books, i fish as much as possible, i also consider myself to be very smart, on and off the water. never fished a tournament.... yet.

The clothing line looks good, you can check it out at ***... butttt i was wondering, hey some of us dont usually fish topwater sometimes its deep or on the bottom.....so shouldnt they make shirts that say "bottom bouncing or spooning?" ;D

i use it from main line to leader, but not on line to lure.

1/8 or 3/16 ounce termnator finnese jig assorted 4 in plastic worms oooh um, and #3 is a luck e strike bass magic 3 inch swimbait

I was just in my walmart and its on sale for 50 bucks! the reel looks really good, any info on it? how fast should i pull the trigger on buying this one? ;D

I am a low buget and have two lonely reels, right now im looking at the abu garcia Vengence/vendetta,and the daiwa tierra, any opinions on these rods? or any other rods in the sub $80 category? thankss

I think you're right. skeet won his classic by flipping a crazy legs chigger craw and a lucky craft spinnerbait boyd duckett won his with a chiggercraw, and maybe something else, not sure ike won his classic with a jog, and two types of worms.
