  1. The conquer minnow at walmart for $1.96. I bought one cuz i liked the look of it. I can tell you i LOVE the action too. They slowly float, but my walmart now sells suspen strips and kvd trebles so after some tweaking, you can get a great bait for like 4 bucks
  2. cranks earlyand late in the season- or when im on my boat A-rig and C-rig when on the boat otherwise im pretty confident with jigs, t-rigs, weightless plastics, jerkbaits, spinnerbaits and topwaters.. ... oh buzzbaits, I have a hard time gettin hit on buzzers. And Swimbaits!! ..i need to spend a lot of time on the water!
  3. what a great video! its cool that the bass just hangs around all the time.
  4. Peppers baits are AWESOME, they are made with quality hooks and blades, the skirt colors are awesome, ball bearing swivel, the arm is the perfect size (most are too long), the blades are spaced well, and best of all they are $4.49 - $5.49
  5. about 80 bucks per rod or reel each, its what i can afford and i usually wait for good stuff to drop down to those prices. examples: Fenwick HMG orig $130 i got for $70 Shimano Citica $120 - $80 daiwa smallmouth vip $125 - $60 ima sucker for a good deal
  6. If you are fishing ponds or boat landings that don't have a lot of places accessible to fish, then stray away from power baits like buzzbaits or cranks. when you only have a limited area(s) to fish, a plastic or jig will catch more fish IMO.
  7. im sure they are some sort of minnow, they don't look like bass fry to me
  8. SK series 5 LC SKT mini mr LC SKT mini dr
  9. love the pit boss in california! i also like the slop craw behind a punch skirt, but it didn't get any bites without one. Devils spear is good too. I also have the grass pig and duece, but i havnt caught fish on either
  10. I got a new Trokar sticker on my car
  11. compared to snag proof or scum frogs, spros aren't that soft, I feel i miss more bass on spros than other brands, especially the poppers, their butt is stiff which i don't like. Spros don't catch as much, but I dont catch big bass, for the most part it's only 1-2 pounders, with a 3 every month or two. I don't think the small bass hook up on frogs as well as larger fish.
  12. It took about 3 weeks for my delivery, so dont expect em extremely soon!
  13. haha yeah well i figured thats what we would get anyways, but its still nice, i got 2/0 but they fit a lot of my lures well. They are PERFECT for a 4 inch senko.
  14. got some 2/0 ewg hooks and a decal, idk which quiz it was for though, i really want the drawstring bag
  15. both of my favorites are by snagproof, #1 is Ish's phat frog- cuz of the floating system (spros sink too much) and the perfect frog. I use a Spro pop frog when i want a different action. the spro works OK, the action is where i want it, but its stiff.
  16. Crank on the keychain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. signed up awhile ago, nuthin yet but soon hopefully
  18. It works great as a trailer for swim jigs, spinnerbaits too. Skeet said it works good as a finnese buzz-frog style lure too!
  19. I believe we use lures that will catch us the most bass. Most bass we catch don't commonly eat musky lure-sized baitfish. Musky lures will catch bass, big bass, but if we use our smaller lures, we catch better numbers of bass with a big bass every now and then.
  20. i agree, they are definitely different, but i dont think they would be consistent fish catchers
  21. Well, actually the little town of Elk Mound thats right next to eau claire, but saying im from eaclaire is easier . random thought- there is going to be a B.A.S.S. elite series event in Lacrosse during the summer! i hope i can go! I missed the event on Lake Wissota a few years ago and i want to go to one.
