when you guys were younger did you ever have trouble trying to find someone your age that bass fishes? being 15, turning 16 in august, i find it hard to find someone my age that actually bass fishes, let alone fishes in general i live here in Los Angeles and well it's tough finding someone that does lol! did many of you ever have a fishing buddy your age? or just fished by yourselves with a parent or other adult?

just keep on fishing cant give up after only 2 hours if not switch up your lures, the structure or cover your fishing and at times it all matters about the type of retrieve your using

probably just shad running all over the lake try a weightless fluke or like how someone suggested a shad patterned lipless crank make sure to use an erratic injured baitfish retrieve

happened once while fishing topwater at sunset fishing a park lake and was getting hurried got the bass on a Heddon popper not the biggest bass (easily no more than 2lbs) but still a very satisfying feeling

well i usually keep the gear ratio at around 5.x mainly because i want to be able to keep the swimbait going nice n slow, and keeping a realistic movement with the swimait which i feel the lower powered 5.x gear ration help you achieve
