Fishing Guides in Orlando?
I am going to be visiting some family in late March in Clermont, FL which is about 30 minutes east of Orlando. Does anyone know of any good bass fishing guide services that you could recommend? Also, what body of water should I fish while I'm down there and what do the fish typically hit on that time of year so I don't fill up the boat with my gear? Thanks for your help.

Bass Guides in Florida
I'm going to be taking a trip to Florida in late March to visit some family. We will be staying in Clermont, FL just outside of Orlando. Does anyone know any bass fishing guide services close to Orlando that you could recommend? I'm asuming there isn't a bad body of water to fish in Florida, but which body of water do you prefer? Thanks for your help.

Bass Pro Rod Trade In?
What if the reels are less than $100 will they still take them? I have a couple cheap shimano spinning reels, and a 50 dollar baitcast reel.

Bass Pro Rod Trade In?
They take any reel, just as long as it is in fairly good condition. Once you trade in your reel, you get discounts based on the price of the new reel in which you purchase. The discounts are somewhere in this range: Price of New Reel Trade-in Discount 100 to 149.99 20.00 150 to 199.99 30.00 200 to 249.99 40.00 250.00 and above 50.00 It doesn't matter what reel you bring in either, just as long as it works. It runs this year from Feb. 26-March 3 I believe.

what to do with old unused fishing line?
One more question since Wayne P. explained backing the reel with great details. Does it matter what # test you use under your good line. For example, is it okay to use 8# mono, flouro, etc. under 20# flouro? So, is it the smaller diameter the better underneath or stick with the same # test and line throughout?

Ohio Bass Lakes?
I fish alot of tourneys at Rocky Fork in Hillsboro, Ohio. It is about an hour to an hour and a half east of Cincinnati. It's probably the best lake in southwestern Ohio in terms of quality and quantity with a few smallmouth mixed in. You will encounter some recreational boaters, but more tournament fishermen than anything. On average, the winners of tourneys pull in anywhere from 12-16 lbs depending on the time of year. The biggest weight total from a winner I've seen was 21 lbs. which came in early May of '09.

Is there a link on this website or another that can explain "backing your reel" in further detail e.g. knots, amount of line, etc?

Tahoe Q5 SF or Q7 SF's?
I am looking into purchasing my first boat this year. I can't be selfish, so I have to get a fish and ski so my whole family can enjoy it. Have you ever owned one of these boats? If so, can you give me a review of what model you have (or had) and what you liked or didn't like about it? Preferably, the 2008 models and newer. If you have the Q5, on average how long can you typically run it on a normal day on the lake with the 23 gallon tank? That is the only thing that concerns me with the boat, thus far. Thanks for your help.

Revo SX vs. BPS Pro Qualifier
Also, if I purchase the SX, I get a free pair of Wiley X sunglasses. Decisions, Decisions.

Revo SX vs. BPS Pro Qualifier
I am looking into buying a new reel and rod for flippin and pitchin, and I am sort of on a budget. I own the Revo Winch, STX, and SX and am very happy with all 3. Can someone please compare the Pro Qualifier to the SX (if you are able to) or what you liked or disliked about the Pro Qualifier reel? Is it worth saving the extra money and going with the ProQualifier combo instead of buying the SX and a nice rod. I would be saving around $100 give or take if I went with the BPS combo. Thanks for your help.

Bass Pro Rod Trade In?
I know that Bass Pro has reel trade-ins for kids, vets, etc, but does anyone know if they have rod trade-ins as well? If so, when are the dates in 2010.
