We were throwing the new $35 slow sink model on 7'10" okuma with a 7-0-0 quantum catalyst PT lined with 65#power pro. I break mono cause I have been told I set the hook to hard LOL.Can't remember the depth or retrive ;D so ask me in person if you make it to a HVBA tourney this year. Thanks for the replies and yes it will hold up to the presure of those big stripers.

Got up to Lanier yesterday 4-2-10 and fished a tourney out of Balus creek and threw the High Power Herring all day and we came in 3rd and had Big Fish with a 4.20 spotted bass. You gotta go thru some stripers aswell. Hope to get back up there soon.

I just bought a plastic box from Home Depot for .99 and buy the hook guards and throw them in together. All my swimbaits in one box. And I can see what is there, Saved me alot of $$
