has any one seen if they have moved up to spawn on lake james or not

fished there yesterday and on good friday caught seven on good friday and six yesterday. On the catawba side is where i was having the best luck with spinnerbaits in the brush and along secondary points, but on the linville side is better for smallmouth and yes its true there is muskey and walleye and trout so good luck and hope you lay em out

I really liked the trigger-x I used the 4inch grub last year during the spawn and the smallmouth loved em, but at the same time its hard to beat the ragetail

has anybody been fishing in lake james and if so what are the current water temperatures and If the bass are in the pre-spawn pattern

yeah you know its got to be bad to get beat just by an ounce. would really like to have seen KVD up there in the mix though.

I know its against the rules but It can only make that ABU better just kidding yes I have fished with the Mojo alot of similarities but overall had to stick with Quantum loved the speed and the feel when paired with a burner reel, but its all in what you like is what matters

bigfruits is right with the lengths but with the 6-10 you sort of meet in the middle with the accuracy and the casting length ability should have opted for the 6-10 myself

Like the one Stasher1 has have fished with a 6-10 but dont have one myself, but really like that series

I like throwing spinnerbaits alot and I have a KVD signature series quantum rod 6-6 MH spinnerbait specific rod and couldnt be happier with the feel and action

would like to have seen KVD do a little better

what did everyone think of the Duel in the Delta??

dont really know if you like them or not but i have had the most success with the terminator titanium in a 1/2 ounce chartreuse/white skirt and no trailer the titanium frame of the spinnerbait seem to withhold the abuse of banging against structure

theres a couple good lakes lake gaston, lake norman , lake wylie if you got google earth check em out

For sure grab it up nice to be able to fish when mother nature aint cooperating
