  1. Bueller... Bueller... Bueller...
  2. http://www.iboats.com/Minn-Kota-Wireless-Copilot-trade-For-Terrova/dm/cart_id.249059802--session_id.337117451--view_id.341511 Thoughts? Worth the money? Best brand? Are they as cool as they seem?
  3. I've got my submersible lights there now so I'll have to put the mounts in front of them. Gonna try to do it tomorrow or next weekend. Cause, you know... I'm busy fishin'. 8-)
  4. So you think it's best to make a U instead of doing each side of the trailer separate? I guess I could do that. Thanks.
  5. It's only 80 lbs. 10'. 32" bottom.
  6. Got this cat on a silver/white crank in about 8' of water last weekend. First of the year. 3 lbs. or so I guess...
  7. Sorry if this has been answered before but I did some searching and couldn't find it. Can anyone give me a material list of what I would need to do this with? This is a picture of my trailer (pre trailer lights). I have all the pvc pipe I can use. Not sure how to mount them... Thanks. Tight lines!
  8. Funny you should ask this as I had to do this for the first time last week. I always go with a buddy but this time I went alone. I actually kept myself up a little the night before going through the motions of trying to do it myself. Before I got to the ramp I got EVERYTHING ready to go. Then watched a few people go out. Someone solo came by and I thought now I'm gonna watch how it's done. Instead, when he started to back down the ramp I went over and told him my situation and that I would help him out if he helped me out. He couldn't have been more appreciative. We helped each other and it was a breeze. He told me how he does it alone and it made sense. He backs down till the boat is barely floating and then walks down the trailer and pushes it the rest of the way, then ties to the dock and parks the truck. On my way in later in the day I docked, got my trailer down the ramp and of course made the rookie mistake of having my trailer too deep. Sure enough a guy at the dock was more than happy to guide me driving up the ramp to the right trailer depth. I simply pulled the boat onto the trailer enough to be able to drive away from the ramp. Practice makes perfect and the fact that southern anglers are probably the nicest people you ever met doesn't hurt either.
  9. Guess what I was saying was the weather man got it wrong. Maybe you guys didn't read that part. That was the point of the post. Happy Fishing...
  10. You get all your gear ready the night before you're going to take your new boat out, spend time looking at maps, getting the latest info on fishing conditions, tackle and then... weather man blows it. Thunder Storms!!! ARRRGHHH!
  11. What's The Smallest Battery That My 30lb Thrust Trolling Motor Can Work With? Having a jon boat, I'm trying to maximize the space and weight. Funny, I think my current battery is about 1/2 the weight of my rig. : Thanks.

  13. Good suggestions! I'm trying to think outside the box, though. But for now I like both of those ideas... Nice.
  14. With a 3.5 hp Mercury w/ trolling motor... What would you do on a 1k budget? (Besides sell and upgrade) Bells, whistles? Whatcha got?
