Don't know if anyone here is much of an antique lures guy, but I stumbled upon an antique Rapala dated 1954. new in original box. Anyone know much about this lure, or its value?

I have had alot of success with my speciality tackle jerbaits. I had numerous Lc Pointer's but sold out of them last year they are excellent Jerkbaits as well.

I just back off the drag so I don't mash the drag washer's, and leave them in the boat (garaged) or put them on our rod racks.

I was at BPS on Saturday night in Ashland Va and there were 2 Shimano Curado cu-200b's that people had traded in for a mere coupon! I was about to ask if I could buy 2 4.98$ push button reels to trade and take those 2 babies out! Did anyone else notice any nice reels people had traded in for that coupon?

Powhatan would be okay with me. I just feel like a pond with ample parking and easily shore accessible would be much more convenient. Maybe after this time we could try a lake, and try to get everyone a seat on a boat?

Another vote for the swim jig here.

I'd try to really focus in on big Worms such as the Rage anaconda, Mann's Jelly Worm, or the Ole Monster. In ponds these things imitate snakes going through the water and can attract some down right Hawgs!

Depends how promising the spot looks! I'm known to really work a spot hard if I think it holds a fish.
