I've fished a couple lakes in the land o Lakes area but haven't fished Big Gull. Kashwakamak is my favorite, Heres a good article that talks about Bill Gull and 2 other lakes in the area. Theres a good article that I cant post on here cuz I don't have enough posts ...I'll PM it to you. -Ben

Probably still pretty cold in Ohio? I'd go with a suspending twitch bait(husky jerk/X-Rap) or a tube fished really slowly. -Ben
