Must Know Presentaions?
I live in Vermont, its pretty far north. If your lake is anthing like Champlain with endless milfoil weed beds, spinnerbaiting is a must. Tubes/spider grubs are a good go to lure for smallies with less grass . rig on a jig head from 1/8 to 3/8. i'm guessing the water is clear and of course, weightless wacky worms (senkos) and C- rigging

I wish lure companies where more creative
Kicker Fish has some original designs that are good. Robo worms are origional too.

Craws in the Grass???
Alright, I use a green pumpkin jig (yum chunk) a lot on my clear home waters. There is a lot of floating timber and sunken timber and a lot of Milfoil--covers the bottom. We have caught many and big bass out of here by leaving the jig in the same place for a while. This is obviosly imitating a craw but there are weeds all around on a mud bottom. Are there crayfish living among weeds?? I though they lived in rocks and rip rap?? Whats the deal here, Why am i catching fish??

When I fish this way or though wood I will Leave the hook in the body cavity. I know its completely weedless . I use 10lb test on a med spin rod for this and have always hooked them.

old gas breakdown???
I put fogger in my 6hp out board last October and stored it. I put the gas tank in the shed. I Tried it last week and couldn't get it to run. It would occasionally cough. I mixed in fresh 93 octane with oil into the tank with the old gas now it won't even cough! I heard that gas can break down an that i should have stabilized it, but why did new gas make it worse??? The old gas may have been 87-89 octane would that make a difference???? What do i do to get it to run??? start over/new tank??? please help!

tire pressure on trailer
My tires are rated for 90 psi As long as your tires aren't too low when loaded down 50 psi is fine, it might extend the life of your tires. more air for more weight

Good question
Its because of spawning. Up here on certain lakes, you can fish from 2nd sat. in april to june something, but it has to be catch and release to help retain the bass poulation. In that time period the bass are spawning and can become vulnerable to over fishing

www.barlowstackle.com I just bought $67 from them. They sell blades as low a 10 in a pack where Janns sells 25. They have good prices.

A very,very, New one!!!
here check this out: http://bassresource.com/beginner/plastic_worms.html You can read more articles "for beginning anglers" A texas rig or T-rig uses a slip sinker above the hook. Some times the sinker is pegged with a tooth pick for heavy cover. t-rigs are usually fished on the bottom but can be swum(?)

Cold water...Losing my mind !
I was on the Conn. River last october and the water was really cold. I ended up catching 4 smallmouth while dragging a tube on a 1/8 jig head. Now this was really slowww. I set my two rods up and let the boat drift with the current (slow) and sometimes against it (wind). Sometimes I didn't even move. I sat back and enjoyed the view and ate, and i noticed the line slowly moving away. i'm no expert but i would say bundle up, bring some food/music and drift around while gragging some plastics. If at all, you will learn what Doesn't work.
