Robby Check again, there are a lot of women fishing the Opens. Pam Martin-Wells, Judy Wong, and Diana Clark...just to name a few. Other anglers are having to fish as co-anglers because of the timing when B.A.S.S. notified us that they were cancelling the WBT. They will be able to register as boaters in 2011. Are you aware that the reason the Bassngals Tournaments were started was because WOMEN WERE NOT ALLOWED TO FISH B.A.S.S. at that time! I joined Bassmasters in the late 1970's. It was in their rules that their tournaments were only open to male anglers. That rule was changed because of the Corps of Engineers.If I remember correctly, it was changed in 1991.
