maybe a guy like me just wants to learn all the factors anyways its hard to find specific bass fishing factors online by searching and googling so i thaught id ask the people who love bass fishing like me but apparently its just an anoyance to them to talk about bass fishing or at least from what i am seeing here. they rather talk about spell check and grammor or just tell me to find what i need else were. like i said dont like what im asking dont reply. dont like the way i spell and put words together dont read or reply.

islandbass i like your last pic of the bottom 2 spinners i like it plain and simple like a bullet body no beads french blade dressed hook but thats my liking i just like plain simple not too flashy and colorful but more natural and bland like alot of company made inline spinners. thanks for the post guys i will definatley start making some. rip off are inline spinner kits they cost 35 bucks for a not so great set i think but at least you get to make like 40 spinners but not enough variety or the body shape is not my liking style and looks.

i guess everyone here rather hate and get mad besides share what they know. my last post i asked about the barometric factor and now im asking about the moon phases. dont like this thread dont reply its that simple. go complain about someone elses post or something. seems you guys spend more time hating my post and whining about my grammor more than you guys fish.

can somebody help explain how to use the moon and sun phases affect smallmouth bass fishing and how to use it.

sorry for my slang internet grammor and spelling. Anyways I fish for sport and fun I do catch and release and when its in season ill keep MAYBE one if im feeling the munchies for one. I just think that what if someone was throwing a lure like a spinnerbait thinking it can catch panfish or whitebass<--- open all year---- and has no clue of what lures to use and a warden thinks he's bass fishing or fishing out of season fish, arrest him for that reason, how would you try to explain it? All i can make of this is that I will have to lie and be sneakiy and cautious of whoes watching because i know manny of you guys do it too :-X In all whatever happens happens cant do nothing about it, I guess lieing is the way to go yes i understand the laws but some are silly like this one cant control what you catch cant control what you cast out there but apparently some people will let it control there fishing but it wont control my love of catching bass :'(

u from MN? hmoob pride! lol anyways to skip you skip with soft plastics with no weights or internal weights inside a soft plastic no other hard lures work for skiping. i pretend like im skipping a rock but with a rod i do a side arm cast but cast it low so it hits the water in other terms i cast it with a side arm aiming pretty much at the water and it should skip. if the lure splashs into the water the lure is too heavvy to skip or needs more force to skip it. like i said softplastics only work for skipping and tubes with internal weights may also work. skipping is easyest with spinning reels not baitcasters but can be done with baitcasters. skip lures under over hang trees or under docks and such is what skipping is for... hoped this helped. no one fishes like a hmoob fishermen. 8-)

what are some inexpensive low price compact fish grippers? i hate losing fish when i lip them with my fingers and they will thrash around and i end up slipping my fingers or getting hooked by my lure so i think any kind of device that can get a good hold on my fish without hurting them will be great. no boga grips and such as they are to me a new rod and reel or new equipment. i like the orvis grippers cuz they are small but cost 100 bucks! looking for cheap but still works for the averege freshwater game fish

i just use a stome and sharpen it to get a triangular point or use a stone or diamond stones with the hook V grooves sharpening spot and just run the point along there.

for inline spinners i go by the size like a inline spinner that is 2-3 inches overall length including hooks is what i like for river smallmouths and river whitebass also for some small to big pike and i also like some inlines close to 4 inches for fishing in rivers but i go by the length but what about the size in oz? when i buy these i got to the store and look at the lure length not the weight so if im buying online how do i tell the length of the lure from the lure weights. they only offer the sizes in weights (oz) so i cant tell what to get online this can also be said with buying sinkers and weights plus buying blades for making inline spinners if i plan on doing it also hooks. so try your best to explain all of this to me please and thank you

i know were to get the supplys now but i cant figure out how to make the metal wire loops that twist to close it. i want it to look like the company made lures were the circle is nice round and perfect. just cant seem to figure it out and sometimes i will bend too close the the bead that it will be a tight closure that the clevis wont spin. also i found that the metal wire spiral things from notebooks looks to work for wire shafts for inline spinners the only con about them is they bend pretty easily and they are thicker than the stainless steel wires you can buy. whats your thaughts on this?

just like any fishermen i want all the knowlege about fishing or at least as much as i can get, cmon who dosnt want to know this stuff

crestliner2008 and Md are both right. i have found that doing what they said worked for me (i was told the same thing from my teacher who showed me the river) yes inline spinners like sonic roostertails work for finding active bass and it can cover alot of water fast! i like the sonic roostertails for murky water or low light conditions that way the colorodo blade cause the vibration better than a typical willow leaf blade i mean cmon the sonic blades causes enough flas just like the willow leafs but why not give it an extra edge with vibration also! anyways i found that when theres current your best bet is to cast diagnal upstream and reel in while the lure weather its a inline spinner or crankbait or tube flows down stream with the current while adding the tube twitch for action or other things like that. bass usually wait for food to drift down to them thats why it works. so far this year my best bet was the inline spinners for some reason but yea and for even a more edge on a lure i buy a high end scent like Bio-edge fishing potion with the crayfish scent, its very good scent to use but it comes in a 2oz bottle so i just boil some water wrap a vassilene container in foil and boil the vasilene til it melts and becomes a liquid pour the Bio-edge in stir it up and frigerate it til its back to a gel form. this will make the scent stay on lures longer and makes for more use.

how does flow rates and currents affect me when im on a river with a dam fishing for smallmouths? can somebody explain what flow rates are and currents and how it effects me and how i can use it to fish. (i fish in both the calm side and the over pour fast current side of the dam) also if you can, give me a explanation of the moon phases and the involvement of fishing there as well for smallies and do people fish those at night? or in the day time? how does the moon phase work for fishing? thanks for all your time and effort giving me an answer ;D 8-) :
