i have the bbz spro wannabe one from cabelas and all i can say is that its just as good and mines swims perfectly but im sure about the sebile wannabe one maybe try burning it through the water really fast or a hard twitch and see if it will pivot and move like its suppose to

I grew up fishing for saltwater gamefish. To this day the size of a bass, no matter how big, does not get to me that much. I know what's a trophy and what isn't but to me, all bass look 'small'. Don't get me wrong, I love to catch them and the 9lb largemouth I caught is one of 4 fish I've ever had mounted in my lifetime but compared to a 50+ pound saltwater fish that would strip your average baitcast real clean of line in seconds, they are still 'small' ) If you want to learn to catch big fish on light line, I suggest you get yourself some hot lips bucktail jigs and go find a bait pod in central Florida. There's no better practice than that. i shuld just go out right? i will learn right? how do i learn if i dont know what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when the fish jumps i put the rod down into the water to try and stop it. when its running swimming to the right which way should i turn my rod to the left or right? and vise versa if the fish was swimming to the left

The Croix joins up with the Mississippi about 40 miles south of there, and I am betting that you don't have a license to drive down there. You are digging a hole right now that you are not going to get out of. There are NO white bass in your area, don't tell a CO that is what you are fishing for in your area or you are sure to get a citation. Do yourself a favor and just wait along with the rest of us, you may think the law is BS but it doesn't mean you don't have to follow it,. I personally think the law is BS but I still follow it. st. croix..... same river when you are at taylors falls and oceola...... just dug a hole in your knowlege..... quit making BS about people you do not know

those are basiks on how to set the hook and set the grag what im asking is how to fight the fish when the are on the line and swimming in various directions trying to break off of you. im asking how to fight and reel them in and tire them out to make it easyer for me and my tackle

i told a friend in a argument about having our own contest. whose the best fishermen he said alright who can catch the most wins i said "hey i can sit and catch literally 50 LMB tomorrow or i can catch one Giant to prove I'm the better angler" he simply shrugged and called off the bet same can be said about live bait i said to my noob fishermen uncle "i can catch bottom feeders all day or i can catch real game fish" i said to my live bait using friends "i can let the live bait do the fishing for me or i can have a challenge using LURES" when I'm having fun with friends socializing i will tie a drift rig hook a worm or minnow and just sit relax and stuff and stuff chat when I'm fishing for the game fish i use strictly lures because i want the knowledge i possess to work the lure and entice the fish to bite... otherwise it wouldn't be a challenge teach your son how to work lures and what it really means to fish maybe he might like it. show him what it means to catch a honest fish teach him live bait rigs teach him all the fishing factors! but maybe shut up as well because he still young i didnt learn about the factors and conditions to fishing and how to work lures until i was 13 and it was all self taught from YOUTUBE!

when you are using monofilament line (i use 8lb test) and you land a nice fish, how do you play the fish? what do you do when its swimming straight away, veering to the right or left, swimming into cover and structure. how to reel them in and have fun! mainly both SMB and LMB and pikes and whitebass

So explain why you're posting a thread asking how to catch them, and in your post you say You say you know it's illegal, yet you're asking how to catch them NOW, and openly admit you've been fishing for them! > Explain yourself! that was a few weeks before i found out about the regulation now i just want to know how to find them in these conditions for future reference right now i'm just fishing whitebass on the st. croix

i been fishing as much as i can now but the weather has been too nice that i catch nothing! clear blue skies in this spring season over at the rum river dam in Minnesota were my wood shop teacher told me was a great place for smallies. i went to a large "pond" connected to the Mississippi witch the rum river flows into not too far away. i fished but had no luck for some large-mouths. i later then drove to the rum river and it got a bit late around 7:30 sunset but my second cast (in-line spinner) landed me a 3 pound smallie! after a few more cast it got dark then i snagged and left to buy some tubes at gander mountain. so far the next few trips were nice days. one of these days was hot but the skies had a few small clouds just enough that you wouldn't call the day a clear sky day and that's when i was catching pikes! just a few tho small size. from there on out all the days i go happens to be nice clear sky days and i have had no luck! i throw everything in my tackle out there! cranks, in-line spinners, tubes, plastic lizards, and i get nothing! all my success so far has been fishing above the dam were the water is calm and just today the water was pretty shallow about knee to waist deep only. so what i'm asking is how do i fish in these conditions from what i have just explained? i have fished below the dam in the faster waters but doesn't look like anything is there. should i try going on a cloudy day? what days should i try going? what other lures and techniques should i try? i have fished around logs in the water but around those spots are pretty shallow and i mostly just get snagged. were and how do i locate were the smallies are? its the rum river dam were i have been fishing for smallies and i mostly fish above kind of close to the dam were it over flows and pours down. thanks for helping and taking time to read and answer my question. i just want to become a better bass fisherman so far from what i have told all i have caught this year so far are 1 small-mouth bass 3 small northern pikes 1 very big pike that cut off my monofilament line please help me improve my list thanks again for answering yea yea yea i know targetting them is illegal in minnesota and i wont fish them until oppenner (SERIOUS) now since DOI! its illegal and yea yea yea i had a same post but it was locked so i will ask again sorry sorry this is my last post okay!!!!! > :'( :-/ :-[ I'll just stick to whitebass up north since they are open continuously. 8-)

i dont care shoot ill bring all inline spinners and cranks that i use for whitebass even those paddle tail swimbaits catch whitebass these 3 lures i used last year for whitebass and they all 3 work (i just started smallie fishing this year by the way)! but guess what!!!! they catch pikes and smallies too so what are you gonna do? im sure when a officer looks in my bag and sees tools scale camera inline spinners some decent size cranks and some small paddle tail swimbaits all what i used for whitebass last year he'd be fine with it. live bait? i can still catch smallies with it just cant control what will take it! i can simply be carp fishing or something. so your telling me if i was an officer and i came along and you were fishing whitebass with inline spinners and i see you catching a smallie on "ACCIDENT" i then take all your gear boat and car and fine you even if you are targeting whitebass not smallies, you are going to accept what i just did to you?

the above you wrote is confessing to targeting these species. seriously, who you trying to kid here? awwww u got me! but do you see how easy it is to lie... i can simply be a rookie thinking a lizard can catch a whitebass and i read somewere online that had a description of some tubes and it even says that it can catch smallies LMB and whitebass! this is why the rugulation cant work! you just cant keep people targetting out of season fish and even if you can there are always excuses and like i said for the thousands time YOU CANT CONTROL WHAT YOU CATCH!!!!!! if they tell me to fish a new place they cant because i have the right to fish were i want for WHITEBASS open yearly!!!!! even if i havnt actually caught one i can still keep TRYING!!!!!!!!!!!

i hadnt confessed. all i have been doing is targetting whitebass which are open continuosly and cranks, lizards, tubes, inline spinners, and even topwater can catch whitebass, whitebass are pretty similar to bass in general they can be caught using the same methods as you would fishing for smallies but hey if i catch a smallie its not my fault because like i said theres no way i can control what i catch

pretty sure you are too. im fishing whitebass open continuously in minnesota but im catching smallies and pikes well whatta ya gon do? cant control what i catch right?

not sure about water temps believe me "GLOBAL WARMING" the temps here in minnesota has been pretty dang high actually higher than what it should be on averege i mean like right now in MN in the spring im wearing shorts outside and idk its just warmer than what should be from what i can tell..... last year around the same month and day like now and even later into april from last year i can go out on the river at Taylors Falls and have my tip top guide frozen with ice! but now it just will never happen because the climate for us has changed drasticly 8-) wearing jackets last year all through april and now this year wearing shorts and t-shirts all through april! o yea and im not sure but my shop teacher LOVES!!!!! fishing he has told me the rum river is very good for smallmouth bass from shore since im a shore fisherman so i dont think lack of fish is the problem as well

you make boillies. fish them with sinker and hook cast it out let it sink and wait thats it! to make boilies best way to learn is watch youtube just search how to make carp boillies or how to make carp bait. carp rigs on youtube search is also helpful

i wuld never use that lure! its too good lookin for a sec i thaught u were using live bluegills! to me that bait if i had made it would be my SHOW lure i wuld be too scared to use it! dang its such nice detail on it!

the reason for the single treble up front on the biggest body part is because its not built with strong joints so if a hook was atatched to the tail section it would break off if a big fish took it. what i do is make a treble trailor from braid and tie it to the eyelet that is holding the front trebel hook i then just loop my stinger through it and thats it just has to be long enough to your liking and it does not effect the action!.... i hope i made this clear if not idk how else to explain it

ive tried it but dont understand it i have poor eye sight and wearing sunglasses makes my vision feel worse and dizzy! im just use to guessing were they are not looking at them because really i never seen them in the water. i never really liked sunglasses i dont like how they make everything feel so dim and gloomy rather stare at the colorful outdoors around me
