Quantum Smoke editors choice from TT
I couldn't find them either... I bet a Smoke rod & reel combo would fish pretty light.

Powell vs dobyns savvy
Both are excellent rods... I have the 6'8 Powell Max (683 EF) and its a great rod for the money. Also Editor's choice on TT. Dobyns Savy has been compared to a St. Croix Avid which is a pretty huge compliment. I have only used a Champion and that is a super nice rod. I don't think you can go wrong with either. As KW stated...

Trying to find the best performing braid for Shimano Saros 2500
If you like Power Pro than I would say a lighter version of that would be a good choice. I've tried a ton of different lines... This season Daiwa Samurai gets the call for both setups...

Name your jerk-bait
I have a ton of perch lures but they seem to produce more Pike than anything else for me. Pointers also produce toothy monsters but way more bass for me. *OFF TOPIC* Anyone looking for a perch lure must own the small Tail Dancer (regular depth). Its a fish catching machine for bass, walleye and pike.

Preferred plastic for a carolina rig?
Without a doubt, esp. if the lake holds big fish. The action of that thing in the water is amazing! Have plenty of rage craws, baby craws and anacondas... but looks like I need some more.

Tube Rigging
Use the search as this has been covered recently. 1) Tube jig or Weedless tube jig - hook exposed 3/16th is my favorite weight 2) Stupid Rig using a jig head - T-rigs the hook 3) Internal tube weight and Gammy 2/0 EWG texas rig 4) Megastrike or Spot Remover jig... Screw bait keeper into tip and T-rig to make it weedless Don't under estimate the 1/4 oz naked jig with a 3" curly tail grub...

Preferred plastic for a carolina rig?
5-7 inch stick bait in a color that produces in your area would be an excellent choice. Other options would be: - Lake Fork Ring Fry - Creature bait (Sweet Beaver, Kreature, Brush Hog, Ragetail) - Long Trick worm... Lizard is popular as its easy dining but still displaces enough water.

Big fish baits and tactics
Fat IKA produced great quality for me last year. After doing some more reading I have added the big IKA to the mix as well. Generally speaking I rig it tex-posed with 4/0 EWG hook, weightless. Swift, silent and deadly. Tubes (standard tube jig) were my best big smallie baits. All my larger bass came from less than 20' of water.

Sons of Guns
The suppressed AK was nice... He treats Vince like a scrub even though he would be pooched without him. The daughter is a 4 max...

BPS and Lucky Craft are in cahoots...
LOL what was the tab? I bet it wasn't cheap.

How do I spool my line onto my Curado 200e7?

Line Choice for Lipless Cranks
hmmm... maybe I'm missing out. I have another setup I can use mono on. 12# big game here we come.

WHITE JIG who? when? how?
One of my favorite colors especially with a chartreuse or chartreuse \ white trailer... Smallies seem to love white.
-
Red Cajun Line
I have it on one of my spinning combos. It worked fine, for mono I use an improved clinch or palomar. It does make really good backing...

Line Choice for Lipless Cranks
The combo I use for this has braid on it so that's what I typically use. I am going to start using more leaders this year...

Good quality telescoping flipping rod?
No comment on imagination but the Verdict is a solid rod for the money. Lightweight, sensitive and cost effective.

Mepps Timber Doodle
I have a gold one and a silver one... Works fairly well, casts a mile & is well made. Out of all these types of bait the Johnson Silver Minnow is by far and away my best producer.

Yo-zuri Hybrid vs Silver Thread Excalibur vs P-Line
Let's see... Tried P Line CX - The copoly coating peeled off after less than a month other than that it was good. Tried CXX as well, too much memory but tough as nails. From this forum, lots of people recommended Yo-Zuri ultra soft so I purchased large spools of 6, 8, 10 and 12... Have it on three rigs but we'll see after a season.

When would you use a Carolina Rig over a Texas Rig?
^^^ Yep. Great search bait. Great responses so far.

Line Choices... Confused!!
;D ;D ;D braid or braid with a fluoro leader is my vote.

Rod for skipping under docks?
A lot of people like spinning rods for tubes. I like a medium 6'8 rod with a fast tip for my spinning setup. I have a similar setup for casting but the rod is MH / fast.
