  1. I catch them in the same spots as in the spawn. Near drop offs, and places where they can ambush pray.
  2. Alright, thanks for the input. I'll probably buy a couple bags with different colors.
  3. I was thinking about picking some of these at Bass Pro. What is the best color choices, and how should I fish it?
  4. Good to know, thanks for the help. Even as long as what they are? I just yesterday bought some Stike King 1/4oz Bitsy bugs because I figured I needed to practice my jig fishing more. I actually took the crawdad and cut the tail off of it and kept it for a plastic trailer -- I guess this will work? Ya that's what I do.
  5. I've had success using them as jig trailers.
  6. A pond I fish has alot of bass 1 or 2 feet off the shore, I've always thought it was because they were feeding on little minnows, and bluegills.
  7. Fall fishing is my favorite fishing of the year!
  8. Has anyone ever used these? Are they good combos?
  9. Here in Missouri it depends on the weather, sometimes we have a really mild winter, but last year it was terrible! Most of the time I stock up lures.
  10. Never thought of that, but give the amount of hormones, antibiotics, etc that most livestock are injected with, it makes perfect sense... Oh ya, I bet it also gives some nutrition, to the lake.
  11. What would cow runoff do to a fishery? Would it kill the fish?
  12. Storm Wildeye Swimshad!
  13. Zoom is the best! I love the Superfluke, and lizards!
  14. I'm going to fish the same places I did in spring. And I'm going to start fishing more swimbaits.
  15. One of the lakes I fish did the opposite. It used to be clear about 2 ft. of visibility, but this year there is only a few inches of visibiliby. I've still caught alot of fish from the lake though.
  16. Okay that makes sense, thank you.
  17. These last two weeks I think I've only caught a few fish per trip. I have tried fishing jigs around weeds and docks and fishing t-rigged plastics around any visible cover. I just can't seem to find the numbers or sizes I caught even at the begginning of July. we've had some extreme tempuraturs ,so that's the only thing I can think of.
  18. I've fished Lake of the Ozarks many times, and never heard of, or caught a piranha.
  19. That's kinda creepy.
