  1. 1. I live in Concordia, MO. 2. This summer I have caught many more fish, and they have been bigger fish. I've caught more 3LBS, and a few over 5LIBS. 3. I have been trying out new lures, and techniques and Found BR. I have finally found my go-to bait, and I have become a better at fishing the texas rig. Oh and I have ben riding my bike to fish farm ponds.
  2. North American Fisherman, or Missouri Ganme and Fish...
  3. Nope, my dog would just jump in the lake, and swim.
  4. I like to hit different ponds during the week, but then when the weekend comes my dad and I fish the local lake (about 100 acers). We usually fish around cover, rocks and fallen trees. we usually fish for a few hours to the whole day(depending on if we're catching anything).
  5. Alittle over a year. My dad first taught me to fish for trout, then we moved to Oklahoma and I fished with worms for catfish. After we moved to Missouri, I became a big crappie fisherman, but last summer is when I really started to love bass fishing.
  6. I catch alot of crappie on lipless crankbaits...
  7. I am thinking about buying the Yum Dancin Tadpoles, and I was just wondering if bass even eat tadpoles.
  8. Nice photo,s but you forgot Cotton Cordell!
  9. I was fishing on a private lake with power line everywhere and I got my t-rigged worm caught up there. I was more mad about losing my lure then being afraid to be shocked.
  10. Sounds like some good buys, especially the Zoom Superfluke!
  11. I've had some success fishing in the rain! I think cause it warm up the water.
  12. I think the Mepps is probably the better bait...but I use mostly Roostertails due to a significant price advantage over the Mepps at Wallyworld. I make two mods to the Roostertail - I bend over the line tie (similar to a Shyster) to reduce line twist, and I bend the tip of the blade outward - this gets better action on the blade. See the photo... I'll have to try that!
  13. The Banjo Minnow for sure!
  14. My dad fished there once...he never caught anything that big though!
  15. I've never used a Panther martin, sounds like I should though
  16. 10' Berkley Worm, Storm Wildeye Swim Shad.
  17. I've caught more fish on a roostertail but I get really frustrated when the blade doesn't spin correctley.
  18. Nice fish! I never thought you could catch a catfish on a fly rod...
  19. WOW, never heard of it...
  20. I dont know man I'll take a Cordell spot against ANY luckycraft lipless bait regardless of price. Ya, me too!
  21. On the outside it may not look like I'm excited, but on the inside I'm pretty pumped!
