  1. The Marina I rent from is kinda steep, it is 95 for halfday, I fish from around 11:30 to 6:00.. They only have a few boats and one is a bass boat... Idk exactly what boat it is, but its about a 16 footer with a 90horse yamaha on the back... If you pass the Coast Guard boater safety test, it gonna be alittle easier on your pockets and youll get a pretty nice bass boat for a day...
  2. I am stationed at Fort Polk as well... I fish Toledo Bend, but there are places right off post.. Blue Hole and some other recreational ponds pretty close... I would have to get directions for you, i have only been out there once with a buddy.... The MWR here rents bass boats out here for pretty cheap.. I havent rented from there yet, I have been renting from a Marina.. Go to the MWR, it is over by Burger King and talk to them if you are interested in renting a bass boat from them..
  3. Revo Sx is a beauty.. Smoothest reel i have held
  4. Thats a fat hawg there... Good Catch man
  5. Today was overcast with some pretty rough waters, slight showers towards the afternoon... Was fishing Palo Gaucho (Pendleton bridge in sight most of the time) First hour nothing.. Moved down to a grassline and got a dink to hit a Stanley Vibrashaft. Next few cast my line broke off inside the spool on a backlash... So as i pulled the Vibrashaft in by hand, a 3-4 pounder jumped on it.. As she jumped outta the water she threw the vibrashaft and it broke off some how.. So next i tie on a Strike King terminator and manage another little guy... Following that it starts to rain and the spinnerbait bite was no more... After the rain I choose a white and black Lucky Craft Cb.. And boated a crappie on that... So outta 4 fish i boated 3... Slow day, but did better than the 1 last weekend... Only my second time on this lake... Sorry I am bad at telling stories.. I know it was boring lol On top of that no pics lol..
  6. On Toledo Bend, it is a white chatterbait.. I catch so much on that thing back in GA...
  7. In the process of finding the bite out on toledo.. Been renting out of Alpine Marina.. Caught a dink on a trick worm and had a decent one come off on a trick worm.... But other than that, has been 2 long days on the lake with not much...
  8. Once again, good luck in the Tourney Fishfordollars
  9. Thanks for the info... I threw a Brush hog this past weekend, but nothing.. Guess i was just throwing the wrong color maybe.. Cause as soon as i put a Watermelon red trickworm on, I was getting bit.. Looking forward to more
