  1. Has anyone tried this line? Just wondering if it's worth trying.
  2. You can never go wrong with a Shimano casting reel, but the Abu Garcia REVO line is worth checking into. Smooth but the real topper is the power! Rock-solid drag systems for absolute horsing power! For the money, the REVO SX is pretty tough to beat.

  4. For some good reading on swim baits, you should check out BBZ.com Tons of info regarding all types of baits but with a focus on swim baits (and not necessarily Spro BBZ baits) BTW- I use a Lamiglas Big Bait Special rod with a REVO Toro casting reel spooled with 20# Sunline Fluorocarbon. The Mike Long Swimbait rods from Dobyns is worth taking a look at too!
  5. When it comes to frogging in the thick stuff, I always use Power Pro, 50 or 65 lb. test. You'll drive the hook home and be able to dig out any fish trapped in the "salad". It's really not tough to use, but if you really hate braid, CXX won't do you wrong.
