  1. As for everyday apps, my most used are things like Pandora, Bank Of America (whatever your bank is if they offer an app,), weather of your choice, google maps/navigation, sports apps (NHL, NFL, ESPN, etc) and Gas Buddy (Finds the cheapest gas around you.) As for games, my favorite so far is Block Puzzle and Unblock me
  2. Sam, email is sent regarding tickets. Thank you again for the generous offer.
  3. Sam, youre dead right I have been busy with my girlfriend. Add that on top of working and getting ready for college I have been a bit MIA. I havent yet seen an email from you, but I havent checked my spam/junk to see if it has been put in there by gmail. I'll check and get back to you. But yes, me and my dad would still love to attend the race. We haven't been in years and I think he would really enjoy it with me. Yup, it was in junk. I'll email you back shortly. Sorry about the PM issue. I guess my box is full. Ill try and clear some room later.
  4. Beautiful rod with a SOL on it, however, poor choice in reel seat imo.
  5. 703 or 733 will be perfect for that, the 712 I'm afraid will be just a touch too light. I personally use a 6'8" m/Xf fast but I prefer a shorter rod for most techniques.
  6. I say get a new phone with the comparably priced data package, however I would wait for the Double The Data sales they frequently run. I pay for the 2 GB and get 4. I hardly ever go through half of it, mainly because I have Wi-Fi. So my advice to you? Just get a Wi-Fi box. Best investment ever really, even if it is only for just your phone.

If you haven't watched arrested development yet, you.need to. They're actually bringing it back for a fourth season just for netflix on the 26th.
  8. I see alot of salt guys using it way out for drum but haven't ever heard of it for bass fishing
  9. Pulled out tree branch from the shore using 17# Seige with a spinnerbait. Heck, I've bent out plenty of hooks using the stuff. My favorite color is the camo seige. Its like a black with all kinds of colors mixed in, I really like it. For the money, there is no better spinnerbait line if you prefer mono for the technique. Also, if you end up liking seige, try elite for some of your smaller more finesse type approaches.
  10. If preach doesnt get them me and my dad would love to go!!
  11. I have a review of Powell's Max and Endurance rods on here. Search for it and you can see that i think very highly of them, especially for the price.
  12. There is no check engine light on. The car has always had a rough idle, gets a bit better after it warms up, but still rough none the less. Saw nothing on the electronics at the Advanced Auto Parts,im not sure if thats good or bad. We just got a new air filter a month ago, and we checked it today, and looks fine. Yeah, im not a mechanic or anything close and I dont want to take anything apart. I can do tires and brakes but thats about it and would prefer to never go inside the motor. Im thinking it may just be time to send her away to car heaven, and get a new one. We got a couple quotes for shocks w/ installation and they wanted ~$1200. Plus new motor work if it need be.
  13. All I have to say is WOW. May I ask what you used for the stencils? Did you just cut them from tape ? I do alot of dyeing work to lacrosse heads with RIT dye and all the layering and hand work with an exacto knife and electrical tape is just time consuming but its a labor of love, not to monetion all the layering to get the colors down. I've been pondering painting my Fuego, but i've never done any air brush work.
  14. LOL no, the plastic hood that goes over the filter and takes the air to the motor.
  15. So basically, my car is a 01 Ford Focus 4 door, and its been a good car as in gets me to point a and point b with reasonable gas mileage. However, I felt it has slowly been getting worse, and on Saturday I filled up the whole tank, reset the tripometer(?) (The thing that measures how far you've gone) and today coming home from work I glanced down at and I burned through a 1/4 tank and only went 40 FREAKING MILES. The amount of miles is accurate, but there should be no way i've gone through 4 gallons of gas. 10 mpg is way of from the usual 25. What is the cause for my sudden drop in fuel mileage? I always get the same gas from WaWa, and we just put a new air filter and spark plugs in a month ago, however when we replaced it, apparently from the dealer they forgot to attach the hood on all the way so all winter all the sand and road salts have probably been getting in there and destroying the motor, but it's been rough since I first got it. But since then up until now mileage was the same 25 until this weekend. What could be the issue? Im going to go ahead and assume it will be something generally expensive, which also begs my next question. The car already has a bunch of other issues with it, needs a whole new suspension, probably a lot of motor work, new tires, brakes, etc. So should I just repair everything on the car? Or upgrade to something newer. I was thinking the latter of the two, but im also not a motor head by any means. Also, what would you guys recommend for good solid cars? I dont have a brand preference but I do want something a little sporty, cool features are plus', but mpg is also a big factor. Im looking for around 25 mpg, and of course, more is always better. My budget would be around 5-6K tops. I've been looking at some Mazda 6's and a few Scion tC's, but I would like to hear more opinions from you all.
  16. Brought him home yesterday morning, after about the first 6 hours in the morning on Sunday we basically got no new information. All the blood work came back negative for some fancy thing (Tri-something?) so there was no need for a catheter thing to the heart to look, but they wanted to do it anyways but we declined since it wasn't necessary, and then scheduled a stress test. Well apparently they just wanted to do the catheter thing because we never got a stress test done, we decided to take him home to do it somewhere closer to home. But what I really want to know is, we were there for so long and never saw a cardiologist? 2 days and a piece and we never once saw him/her. Very disappointed in the care, but luckily so far so good as my dad is doing well and back to normal. He has a stress test scheduled with a local doctor on Monday. I would also like to thank you all again for your thoughts and prayers.
  17. I was hoping if any of you all are praying people that you could pray for my dad. Yesterday morning about 4 a.m. while going to work he had some chest pain and when he was at work he had a heart attack or something very similar. He's been at the hospital since then and I am still here. So far everything is looking good and the few blood tests have come back negative, which is also good. It's most likely not heart disease, but stress related, but were still waiting on him to take more tests. Hopefully he'll be out of here tonight and we can get some tacos (they won't let him eat or drink because of the tests). I'll keep you guys updated but if you could please say some words for him for a full recovery. Thank you.
  18. Just got my 7' M/F in the mail today and i'm impressed. Very well balanced, and the TAC cork handle is just plain comfortable and I really like the feel of it, action seemed to be standard fast but i'd put the power of the rod up just a smidge from a medium, definately a little more stiffer and has a ton of backbone to it. Balance with a Fuego in it was right at the small foregrip. It felt really light and crisp when tossing around with it in the yard. I think it will be a very nice secondary plastics rod for me for heavier styles, ala senkos, pegged rage craws, and maybe some bigger magnum flukes should the need arise. It compliments my Powell 682C very well, and if it fishes as good as I think it does, it will definitely being fighting for some time on the water.
  19. It looks to me like they took a pfleuger and fubared it. Just my opinion but the last version by quantum were some nice reels
  20. Falcons seemed to have a more moderate taper than competing rods, which is why I moved away. (Atleast in the Bucoo and Lowrider). I prefer a F or XF for most of my techinques, but I believe the lower lure rating is because of the softer tips, but I could be wrong.
  21. Thanks for the help! It lists it as ECS on Cabelas too, so I was just curious. And i'm having to put away money to go to senior week on top of bills, so money is tight for me, probably no more rods in the future, but I had to get this at the price.
  22. Subjective to price range. But my favorites are Powell Max rods, they are simply the best rods under $200 IMO, with a $140 tag on em.
  23. I just ordered the 7' M/F, but my question is, in the picture it shows a Fuji ACS reel seat vs the listed ECS, can anyone confirm which it comes with? I already ordered and dont care which is on, but I do prefer an ACS. Either way, for $78 (18$ for shipping! C'mon man) I'm not complaining.
  24. Thanks for the heads up! There goes my taxes.... LOL
  25. What ARV said, if you really want to keep it around $100 I would get the Compre, but I HIGHLY recommend Powell rods, They ant be beaten for under $200 dollars let alone under 150..
