  1. Has anyone ever tried to fish a finesse jika rig on a spinning rod and light line? What size hooks, split rings, and weights would you use? Also what type of baits would you use and how would you work it?
  2. Yes I had a great time at Canoe Creek. It is a lake that I wish I could get to more often. Thanks so much for helping me get started out there. Have you been up to Glendale recently?
  3. Hey thanks for the help. Well i only was able to fish for around 3 hours because the trolling motor battery was getting low but i was able to land 6 bass. Most of them came down by the stump field in the weeds. The largest bass was just a tad over 15 inches. Fish were caught on weightless senkos.
  4. Hey Guys, Im going to be fishing Canoe Creek for the first time ever tomorrow. I have never been to the lake so I don't have a clue about it and how/where to fish. Can some of you guys that fish this lake get me going in the right direction? Thanks
  5. GYCB senko 5 inch wacky rigged on a 2/0 finesse wide gap hook. Color would be green pumpkin with black flake.
  6. Not sure on the exact weight but it was over six pounds while fishing a split shot rig with a zoom baby brush hog on 8lb flouro.

  11. Hey Guys, I just downloaded this app for my new iphone and I have a question. How do you actually add a waypoint to the lake map. I have been looking at spots that I would like to fish but I'm not sure how to add the waypoint so I can go to it on the water. Can anyone help me learn how to use this app? Thanks
  12. Green Pumpkin Senko Fat Ika Drop Shot
  13. I just freeze milk jugs and then put then in the livewell to cool it down. This hasn't let me down yet.
  14. My all time favorite topwater lures are a zara spook, black Cavitron buzzbait and the Spro Bronzeye frog.
  15. Does anyone know where I could get a good topo map of Glendale?
  16. Hows the night fishing at Glendale? I haven't ever gone out night fishing, any suggestions?
  17. If the watermelon GYCB Senko was working, I would go back with it. I have also found that I have so much more confidence in the original GYCB Senko than the knock off brands.
  18. So do you just go to a place where you know is structure like stumps or brush piles and then search around until you find one and then fish it?
  19. Hey Guys, I had the boat out yesterday and I realized that my old fishfinder quit working on me. I am in search for a new one with traditional 2d sonar and possibly down imaging capabilities. I have it narrowed down to the Humminbird 561 or the Humminbird 561 DI. I know that down imaging gives you an image right below the boat, but how would you actually use this out on the water? Do you just drive around and whenever you find something with the DI, mark it on a gps and then come back and fish it? Can you guys that have DI explain to me how to use it to locate the structure and then fish the structure? Thanks in advance
