Koppers Live Target. TW has these on sale right now. Stock up.

Spro or Booyah Pad Crasher

I love the Booyah's but it seems mine take on a ton of water, compared to others.

The livetarget is my favorite frog. The 55T is the perfect size, 1 pounders and bigger will eat it.

Most frogs have about the same hookup ratio IMHO. The tricky part is training yourself to set the hook when the fish has it and not when it blows up on it. If you don't have this completely down then you are going to miss 90% of the fish that bite in your tournament.

I use the SK Sexy frog exclusively now. I had used Spro's for a long time, and Snag Proof "Bobby's perfect frog" before that, I have been frogging for a long time. The SK is easier to walk, casts just as well, skips under overhead cover better, has the same EXACT gamakatsu hook as the Spro, is softer, comes with a rattle (which you can.....and I often do, take out if you don't want it) and is a little cheaper. The one downside to it being softer, is it is less durable. I have worn three of them out this year so far, but have gotten at least 40-50 fish out of each one. Realistic paint jobs???? They are made to catch you, not the fish. I catch them in crystal clear water on  just about every color SK makes.

I use the live target frogs but plan on picking up some spro frogs this year to get a few colors not offered by live target.

Booyah pad crasher

Personally, Live target. Although I used Spro before Livetarget came around. By one of the top three suggestions and let us know what you liked and how you did in the tourney.

I love the "I'm fishing a tournament soon, what lure should I use" posts, I imagine its what a lame gazelle looks like to a lion...

The correct answer is the lure you've been fishing with in similar conditions and have confidence in. I would get 2 or 3 in a 1/2 oz NOW, and see which one works best for you. There are many good frogs, and some are better in certain conditions than others, slight modifications can go a long way towards getting more bites and/or improving hook up ratios, not to mention that the rod and line are as important as the frog if not more so,  good luck though....
