I don't throw jigs hardly at all. Honestly, I don't even think about them. My last 3 PB upgrades have all come on either dragging a craw or useing swim worms. (ribbon tail and speed worm) As @Bluebasser86 said, location is key. Mike

Check out the Phenix line of composite deep cranking rods. There "X" series of rods goes all the way to thier 3oz Max lure rating. Mike

Don't use mono or leaders for anything. All combos are straight Flouro except for frogs and punching. Mike

Getting very windy. Center is 15 miles SW of here heading into the gulf. With every wind gust the motor home rocks a little bit. Louisiana is gonna get it worse than us here in SW Florida.., You guys keep your head down!!! Mike

There are areas of Okeechobee that are clean and not affected at all and they're not hard to find. I have not seen or heard of a problem in either the Kissimmee or Harris Chains. Mike
