In my opinion lead from fishing tackle is most likely not having any significant impact on the environment.

Sweet boat. I just picked up a used Sea Eagle SE8, basically the little brother to your boat. I absolutely love it and it fits easily in the trunk of my car.

I work on computers for a living, and virus prevention/removal is a big part of my job. You don't need to pay for AV software, AVG Free is as good or better than the stuff you have to buy. In my experience having Norton software on your system is as bad as having a virus it hogs resources so much. Absolutely DO NOT run more than one active AV program. One AV will think the other is a virus and vice versa. They ultimately will bring your pc to a crawl. As far as Linux, if you are willing to go through learning it (and it isn't hard at all), you pretty much will never have to run AV software at all. Also it is free, and software for it is free. The one downside is some Windows apps won't run well on it, particularly games. If you are a PC gamer, Linux is not for you. If you don't game on your pc, you will be able to do everything you can do with Windows on a Linux system, and in a lot of cases do it better. I currently have a dual boot system, I boot to WIndows 7 for gaming, and boot to Ubuntu for everything else. I haven't had to clean a virus for myself in years. Good luck!

I have owned the Ibanez above for a couple of years. Plays really well, has active electronics, and both "j" and "p" pickups. Very affordable and I can get anywhere from a mellow jazz tone to a punchy high end punk tone with it.

It's bad everywhere. There is a lake at a state park that I fish, and last time I was there pretty much every good spot to fish from the bank had an empty nightcrawler container or beer can. Most within ten feet of a trash can. Some people just don't get it.

When I set the hook, I basically give a hard jerk to 12 o'clock with the rod, and I have been trying to use alot of wrist action.

Well i got aout to the lake early yesterday morning to give the new setup a try. Even being as inexperienced as I am I could tell the difference over the $20 wallyworld combo I started with, it was like night and day. The reel in particular was ALOT easier too cast with. I fished 5" senkos for about 3 hours, had what I think were bites but couldn't get a hookup . I assume they were bites because after i tried to hookup and reeled back in, the worm was slid all the way down the hook ( i was rigged weightless on a 3/0 EWG offset hook). A guy fishing next to me said that usually means you ripped it out of a fish's mouth.
