  1. Congrats on a great find and catch.
  2. Spinnerbait and shallow crank. Maybe a fluke if the water is clear.
  3. I have to go with KVD, Rick Clunn, Larry Nixon, and Denny Brauer. I grew up when Clunn, Nixon, and Brauer were in their heyday.
  4. Have to go with the Bandit 200
  5. I understand completely the nerves of fishing a new lake, but I think that if you will try to imitate what you do on the lake your familiar with at the new lake it will be a good starting place. I also like to for those places that just scream BASS, i.e. weeds, brush, timber.

Love my ZOOM baits, never really thought to dress them up. I always seem to catch more than my buddys who like to use lots of different scents.
  7. The surface temps here in WV on the lakes are pushing mid 80's but on the rivers they are high 70's. We are still catching fish in the traditionla ways on the river topwater, spinnerbait, etc., but on the lakes the fish have just pulled out off the bank a bit to the 8-12 ft level and are feeding just as heavily as before just have to get down to them. shakey heads and just T-rigged worms doing damage now.
  8. I don't use a trailer or trailer hook. I actually cut the the skirt to right up behind the hook to make the presentation smaller and it seems that the fish will take it better. Around here the fish see every make and model spinnerbait that can be sold and most people take them straight from the package to the end of the line with no modification so I think this little trick helps me catch more fish.
  9. Dead Ringer all the way
