The bass in Mexico like the "blurp" you are looking for as well. Best I have found are the rapala skitter pop (wood), lobina rio rico and the yellow magics. Jeff

I have caught way more 9's than 10's, and never broken the 11lb mark having caught 5 between 10 and 10lbs 14oz. I will go back and check the number of 9's tonight, but I am sure it is more than double the 10lb bass I have caught. Jeff

The listed price of that lodge is $1495 for 4night/3 day. Lake Baccarac Lodge, which is the premier lodge on the lake is $1595. The economy package at Lake Baccarac Lodge is $1095 and at you place is $1295, so Lake Baccarac Lodgee is actually cheaper that way.
