I would suggest the mhm. I do not know the exact weight but it is light. My last cranking stick was a glass rod, and it was much heavier than this rod. *Edit* just looked it up avc70mhm is 4.1 ounces Jeff

Try fishing a tungsten weight. It will open your eyes to what is down there. Also it will be smaller for the same weight and not hang as much. Jeff
