I got skunked an hour this morning I do believe that all three of the ponds have largemouth. I have caught them in the smaller upper two ponds, and other fisherman there have told me they catch them out of the lower pond. I usually fish the middle pond simply because it is less walking from where I park. PM me. We should fish sometime. Seem to go to a lot of the same places.

Bass were biting well at Sewell's Orchard in Columbia this evening. Caught a few little guys in an hour and a half or so. Black and blue was the way to go.

All around Columbia and Bowie...fonthill wetlands park, Centennial, Science and Tech Center, Tall Oaks Pond, and occasionally places like elkhorn and walking fish. Sadly I couldnt make it out...

Not sure what my buddy had tied on, but i had a texas rigged strike king rage rail craw trying to punch the lily pads, but I wasn't getting many hits, so I started fishing it in large gaps in the lily pads like a swim jig, and missed one, and then caught one.

Went to walking fish pond a few days ago. (monday night) and caught a little one. My buddy caught 2. we stayed for an hour or so. It was both of our first time going and all three fish looked about a pound. Looks pretty promising.

There's a pond in Bowie in the tall oaks neighborhood that's got some good fish. Also the pond under the bridge on old 450. Do you work in Columbia and fish elkhorn? I have family in Bowie and Columbia so they are the main areas I fish.

You're in Bowie? I fished tall oaks pond this pm and caught a few dinks. Gonna go to the melford ponds tomorrow am. Allen's pond has produced some nice 2-3 pounds for me in the last couple years.

Nice catch! When I go to elkhorn I haven't picked up much other then some dunks by the playground. Any advice?

Haven't posted in a while. Just got the driver's license so I can fish much much more! Anyone have advice on any of howard county's spots or wanna go fish one evening sometime?

My parents work during the week so I am limited to where i can walk most of the time so my options are centennial and wilde lake. Do you know how wilde lake's recent dredging would effect the bass fishing?

Does anyone out there know much about Wilde lake? I understand it was just dredged and not sure how it would effect the fishing. What about the other local spots such as centennial.. etc. Nonboater and non driver looking for someone to go fishing with.
