In response to Long Mike and the Mechanic at Six MIle. That is awesome, it is very hard to find someone of that calibur. My camp is not far from his shop. My neighbor has recomended him before. I ran a Yamaha on a 20' Ranger. I wonder if he works on Yamaha's? Might need him in a pinch.

Headed up tomorrow to Six Mile area for a week. My camp is in the Hickory Ridge Cove. Good luck to all.

Fry, I fish the Hickory ridge area also . My place is the two story blue house to the right just before you get to the Island on the left. Stop by sometime. Bull

I did well on watermelon red along grassy points and along the grass bed in six mile.

I was hoping to have this get together on Oct. 30 ,but thats the way it goes. I go back to work on Nov. 6. I'll try to make the next one. Still would like to meet all of you.

Fished five days in six mile , High line cove. Fished the two grassy points. We caught 15 to 20 a day the largest was 6 lb 4 oz. Caught the big one on brush hog in 10 ft of water. the rest were on wackey worms, Texas rig worms, pop r's. Caught some chasing shad in the middle of the cove. Had a great time with my good friend and brother.

I'll be up at the six mile area from 10/23 to 10/31, thanks for the info. I was going to try the six mile and sandy creek area.

Catt, would you happen to know how long are they going to keep the lake level down? Wanting to build a new pier so I was just wondering. Thanks

Back from the Bend. Could not launch at my house had to launch at Six Mile. Caught an average of 10 to 15 a day along the grass edge. Caght the larger ones off of deeper water on the points. Used watermelon red wacky worms and flukes on the grass and c-rig brush hogs june bug and flukes on the points. Mostly small one with a few keeprers. I'll be back up there at the end of the month if the launches are still usable.

Heading to the Bend on Monday, fishing Monday, Tuesday and Wendsday. I'll be in the Six mile area down to Mill creak area. I'll post a report when I get back.

SkeeterDon, thanks for the info. I'm heading up this week end. Thats where I have been catching most of my fish also. No big sizes but all along the grass lines on pionts in Six mile and Sandy, also some in my cove of Little Lowes creek.
