Hey guys I was wondering how dropping temperatures affect bass fishing. Right now the temperature has dropped to about highs in the 46-59 and lows in the 28-36. Is it still a good time to fish? Or are the bass not biting anymore? And if they are still biting, whats a good way to draw them out and get them to bite?

Oh and there is no pier or docks or anything like that. Its not a bad size lake, people have put in some structures but lack of rain, have made them useless. But its starting to rain again so good news.

Thanks for the tips everyone. Went for around 45 min this time caught one on a trick worm, and lost a big one on a crankbait. They seem to follow the crank to the shore and run away, what should I do to make them take it? Somebody a while back also told me a good craw population is there.

Hey I think its a mud bottom, it's pretty clear. I've had no luck lately and I cant really find any structure or depth. I've tried throwing some stuff along the bank, but no luck. I've got one on crankbait, anything else you could recommend?

Hey I have been fishing a few lakes that have no grass by the banks. It seems to be pretty clear of weeds and brushes, so how would i fish this lake? What could i use to increase my chances? P.S. Even though there's not grass, there seems to be some baitfish at the banks.

Hey I was wondering the effects on bass if there is no rain for a long time. I'm going to guess its been about a month or a maybe a little longer since it last rained here. The water levels are really low. Is there anything anyone can recommend to better my chances of catching something?

Well i went there again today with 3 friends, and i gotta say it was pretty disappointing. I was wondering if anyone had another place they like to go near collierville or germantown area?

Wasn't too bad there, now i just need to find a good baitshop in my area to get some lures.

I went out there today with two of my friends around 4 and stayed there till 5:30. It wasn't too bad. They tried to use topwater baits and poppers but had no luck. I used 6 inch zoom worms and a rooster tail. I caught 4, one big one, on the worms but none on the rooster tail. I was wondering what bait you used out there and how you use it. Any tips?
