  1. Great looking pattern and choice of colors. 'Scuse my ignorance, but did you build the bait itself or perform just the paint work? Never tried swimbaits, but interested in 3-4" long versions. You mentioned "one of your favorites", looking for an option (yours appears longer than 4"). Thanks, Mike

Exactly what I do. Or, I add a #6 or #8 stinger treble. Thread the fluke on, then the treble with the one hook of the three situated so it will go straight into tail of fluke, then feed rest of fluke. Insert that one treble hook into tail and WALA - you now have 2 extra exposed hooks to get them if they're swiping vs. biting. Of course, you can't do this in heavy cover or weeks...but it is absolutely awesome when they're out schooling. Not sure how good a job I did of describing, LOL...I'll snap a pic if interested.
  3. Always a favorite of mine! We stay on CN side, Mitchell's Bay, last week of May or first week of June. Youngest is graduating HS this year, gonna throw a party, so this year it's Memorial Day weekend and the week after. With all this snow/slush/junk, can't wait.
  4. New to this forum, but been using Shimano Curados and Citicas for 13+ years, old and (now) new. I rebuild them every winter and have never had an issue with them. As previously stated, these reels are flat-out awesome. I was a Daiwa guy years ago, but found no reason to return after borrowing LH Curado from a buddy...got 14 of 'em now, that say it?!?! If you like, I can ship a LH Citica to you, see how you like it...not like I'm gonna miss it, water's hardddddd :'(
