I hate getting skunking, but it has make me fish harder and am a better fisherman now Where I fish ever other one is aleast 3lb but on a good day your only going to catch 3-4 I go fishing down south la on lake verret and you'll catch 40-60 in a day but only 1 or 2 over 14in, after a short while you get tried of the fish flying by u when setting the hook

The new lews lazer Mg is 79.99 and it blow me away, I fish a lot of high end reels and this beat them all in casting, but the steez even then it was only 1 foot back, and smooth for a reel under $100,, thought it might be a fulk so bought one in the 5.4 to 1 and the same thang, for a $100 rod I'd say Falcon BooCoo 6.9 MH its a little bit light for a mh but very sensitive,,, That a very fine combo for less than $200 As always YMMV

OK my two cent's : I get the, does not feel that good to me thing. But in the store the core 100 did not feel good in my hand to me either then I got one in a trade and on a rod the thing is money . I now have 2 and looking to add more, I also got a core 50mg7 thinking it too would feel great , again not on the rod for me :'( I also have 4 zillions, because their great in my hand fishing dido on the steez ( by the way I have one for sale here on the form) Fuego also good, sol too, also the new smoke. Try'em on a rod if you can and even better fishing, other little thing come to light like how good they cast do you like the braking system, ect YMMV

Yeah, I been wondering about them I have 3 Vendetta 6-6 Revo SX combo's that feel better than on a Veritas because the handle on the Veritas is to close to the end of the rod. A lighter reel feel's better on the Veritas thou If the Verdict is lighter I might look at them hard

I guess we all see thing diffidently PP works for me so-fore, it bleeds thou I tryed Spiderwire Stealth, and after a few days I take it off Not as smooth to me and I had breakage's All 20 lb test But I might look into that Samurai stuff 8-)

Update, I got skunked yesterday for the first time bass fishing Took off work early, and it looked like a good day, but they beat me bad, looks like I need to read more now that the temp is failing fast here signed; beaten up but not out yet :-[ PS I still ate bass last night I caught this weekend

Ok this may sound nut's but for the last 2 mouths the 4 of us that bass fish here have only caught 5 on worms and more than 200 on spinner baits, and few on some other stuff Mostly green and black or gold and black spinners I always start with a worm, but give in to the spin In the spring their great, that and some top water buzz YMMV, and it's my first year fishing for Bass so...

Gusty wind is the worst for me , I have what might the smallest bass boat ever ( 15 ft Cajun aluminum low profile ) for now. And the wind can sink me for real, if it starts to white cap I head in. Plus I've had no luck in the wind----Yet
