  1. Most anything myself or some of my buddies on here have posted. Way too many to list.
  2. Loads and loads of cotton mouths and copper heads down here. We've seen Cane Breaks in the woods as well. None of the snakes down here have an interest in messing with you. Truthfully, you are more likely to get bitten by a dang water snake then a cotton mouth. Cotton mouths are quite docile by snake standards.
  3. I like to think so too.
  4. I was taught there are only two kinds of snakes. A rattlesnake and a chicken snake. If it ain't got a chicken in its mouth it's a rattle snake and you shoot it. Personally, I don't mind snakes. My fiance apparently used to have pythons and boas. One of which was 15 feet long when her ex made her get rid of it. I believe it now resides in the Memphis zoo. She stopped the car, in the rain none the less, to shoe a 4 foot copperhead out of the road the other day so as it wouldn't get run over. I mean stopped traffic to kick him out of the dang road. I dare say I was speechless from that one.
  5. I am so doing that!!! Anyone wanna go with me?
  6. Take the safety course then go buy a Harley. Stay away from those crappy Japanese bikes. Seriously though. Find what YOU are most comfortable on. Everyone likes different bikes. It all boils down to what you feel the most comfortable sitting on and the type of riding you intend to do. Don't get a touring bike if your just going around town. Don't get a Dyna or smaller bike if you are planning on packing a passenger and goings touring. Along those lines. Don't get a Harley, Night Rod excluded, and expect to be weaving in and out of traffic and flying around at 100 plus mph. Always keep in mind that its not a question of if you lay it down or wreck, but when. Your abilities and instincts can lessen the damage that is done when it happens. Ger comfortable riding by yourself before you start packing a passenger. The dynamics completely change when a second person is on the bike with you. It generally takes 2 to 3 months, depending on how much you ride. Pay attention to your surrondings. 3 car lengths ahead and to both sides of you. People will come over on you like you are not even there. Don't matter how loud your pipes are. Cagers (car drivers) are stupid and don't pay attention to anything. Don't be afraid of a little speed. Your bike much like a gyroscope is more stable at higher speeds. Within a certain limit. In no way am I saying fly around like a bat out of hell. The sweet spot on my Dyna was 65 to 70. The sweet spot on my Ultra Limited is closer to 70 Or 75. That's when you have the best control and manuverability. Don't buy a touring bike for your first ride. My bike, a 2012 Ultra Limited, is 1150 pounds empty. If you lay it down you had better be able to pick it back up. My first bike that I owned was a 2013 Dyna Wide Glide. She had a 103CI motor and weighed around 750lbs. Its the bike in my profile picture. She would absolutely fly. I traded up to a touring model, cause my old lady hated the back of that bike. That and the fact I mayyyyyyyyyy have been going faster then I should and doing some things I definitely shouldn't have been. Always keep a healthy respect for your bike and yourself the bike is an extension of you. Don't abuse it and she will take care of you. Most importantly. Have fun. You will be uncomfortable and nervous the first couple times you ride. It passes with time and experience. If I can be of any help in regards to questions or bikes in general feel free to Message me or ask on here.
  7. Been busy as all hell since I got back. I proposed to my now fiancée while we were down there. So now we are planning for a wedding. Did have a blast in voodoo country. So much so that we are going to have our wedding dOwn there. Officiated by a voodoo priestess none the less.
  8. LMAO I'm not sure the mastiff is gonna let you get that far into the house.
  9. I'm going to New Orleans. I intend to spend my time in the voodoo shops and cemeteries. Possibly doing some touristy stuff too.
  10. I'm still going to the French quarter. This has become the most drawn out pain in the rear ever. The reservations have been canceled for that hotel. The hotel charged us half, because they didn't receive the cancellation thing until this morning right after the time expired to cancel yet it was canceled before the time expired. And blah blah blah, yada yada yada. So now the bank is refunding our money, and I'm launching my smear campaign against said travel company. Maybe I can get a voodoo he put in said company when I get down to nawlins.
  11. I hung out with the Banditos down here a few weeks ago. Great group of guys. Super friendly, they showed us a real good time. Which has been the case with all tbe 1%er clubs i have hung out with. As for Texas I can't speak, for those that were involved with that. Sounds to me like business was being handled and it got way out of control, and happened in place where it never should have.
  12. We are heading to New Orleans for memorial day weekend. She intends to tour the cuisine. I intend to spend my time in grave yards and voodoo shops. However, that is a story for another day. We found a room down there for $73 a night in the heart of the French Corner. Go and book the room at $73 a night, and we get a confirmation email for $650 for 2 nights!!! After calling and talking with them about this we checked the website again and the price was 226 a night. She has spent 4 hours on hold and 6 hours talking to them trying to straighten this out. All the calls have been recorded by both them and us. Plus we have the screen shots of the prices and other stuff. This has been the biggest headache in the world. One supervisor offered us a 250 dollar voucher if we cancelled the reservation. After continuing to argue and being hung up on. Upon calling back to a new call center the best they can do is offer a 50 dollar voucher. Wow how charming. Now here we sit on hold again waiting to speak to the corporate office. This has been the biggest headache in the world. I will be danged if I ever use this "service" again. As per the site rules I am with old in the name of said company for the time being. However, I do believe I will be releasing the phone calls and everything else via social media and other various channels very soon.
  13. If there is anything myself and my brothers and some of the MC's down here can do for yall, don't hesitate to ask. We are all praying and sending thoughts yalls way.
  14. Prayers being sent brother. I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. He will pull out of it.
  15. Update 2. The mastiff has been located. After almost getting hit by a couple cars someone picked him up and was taking him to get scanned for a chip. They saw her post on the Facebook community wall and called her. She is going to pick him up now. The beagle has still not stirred from his spot on the couch. I'm starting to think he may be happy to be home. I may have to put one of my gps collars on him incase he pulls a stunt like this again. Anyway, it's nice to have them both back home again.
  16. Update: Apparently they spent the afternoon from around 2 to 5 lounging around outside a neighborhood pet clinic. Then left out of there about twenty minutes before we arrived home. The girlfriend is heading back over there in the car to search the neighborhood behind the clinic now. The beagle is currently in the most comatose state I have ever seen him in. He is completely worn out and zonked out on the couch next to me. I will keep yall updated.
  17. Our 3 year old let the dogs out the front door this morning. It was as I was getting my coffee that this happened. I ran outside and saw the mastiff sprint off to the left of the house. As I was calling the mastiff. I noticed a white tail disappear around a hedge row to the right of the house. Well that's just great the Beagle went one way the mastiff the other. I figure being a 120 lb dog the mastiff should take priority. So I start after the now vanished mastiff. After 15 minutes of searching I return home to look for my beagle. Which also ended in a disappearence. After spending the next 20 minutes calling for both dogs. I decided to drive around and hunt for them. After an hour of driving and searching I returned home. I picked up my girlfriend and our two boys and continued the hunt. We drove for another hour and still didn't find them. All the neighbors around have been alerted so there wasn't much else to do but wait. We ran some errands and 6 hours later returned home to find a dirty worn out beagle on the front porch completely alone. Now for the confusion. These two dogs go EVERYWHERE together. They are completely inseparable. To the point that they have to share a kennel or they will bark all night long. If the two were together I don't see them leaving one another behind. That doesn't make sense to me. Even going in opposite directions in the beginning I figured they would have met up at some point. Secondly. I'm quite surprised the beagle returned home. Generally if they take off on scent then they are gone. It's not uncommon to find them wandering around out in the country down here. It's just how they are. People generally don't return them if they are found either. We value their hunting instincts quite a bit down here. So him being on the porch seemed strange to me. Don't get me wrong. I am overjoyed that he is home. I was worried sick about him. Thirdly. Where the hell is my mastiff!?! He is truly missing. No clue where he may be and my scent hound(the beagle) is too pooped to get off the couch and help me track him. So yeah its a sad day down here. If yall could send positive thoughts for the mastiff safe return home that would be awesome. Also, I might as well beat a few of my buddies to the joke. Yes I have checked with the local Chinese restaurants down here. No they have not seen giant horse dog wandering around.
  18. Sounds like you are on the right track. Practice, practice, practice.
  19. That list is flawed. If the Raiders were the 12th biggest cheaters we would be winning more than 2 games a year!
  20. Sorry for your loss.
  21. It was an attempt to troll RedEarth and fly fisher. Which didn't quite go as planned. At least as of yet.
  22. That's how it feels some times.
  23. Ahhhh yes. The Immaculate Deception. Well played brother.
