Since I just got paid. The most recent song stuck in my head is, Bling Bling by BG and the Big Tymers.

Many nothing. About half of those weren't even about fishing. I fished tournaments and did dang good with it too. Made a decent chunk of money out of it too. I also burned out on it as well. I spent the better part of 300 to 320 days out of the year fishing for three straight years. So yup, A lot of my post haven't been fishing related. I've fished rods from 20 dollars up to my 2 custom rods that were over a grand a piece. I've just been taking a break from catching green fish for awhile. I've got a large chunk of money invested into fishing gear. I can pretty much tell you what works for me and what doesnt. I just choose not to post about all my fishing adventures and knowledge all the time.

Long Mike and Glenn let me wander around the other forums about once or twice a year. Otherwise they keep me locked down there. I just happened to tunnel my way out this time.

It's a 5600. I actually prefer the rounds over the low profile reels too. That's not to say I don't have a couple of them. I just like how the round reels fit my hands better.

I'm looking for a new rod. Being new to the bass fishing scene, I was wondering what the best casting rod for under $1000 dollars is. I'm completely clueless as to what to get. Please help me in making my decision.

I do so fish. My girlfriend has had me out here fishing all day today. Even sat that their and laid out of work so we could go. This is on top of her asking if we could leave work early for the past 4 days so we could go fishing. She just got a new combo and is excited as hell to go fish it.

I paired a Zebco Z03 omega pro with a Abu Garcia Volatile 7 ft Medium fast rod. Holy dang. The Z03 slings the hell out of a bait. Dang accurate too. I'm quite impressed with this reel. She has the black Z03 Pro coming for her birthday so she should be stoked with that one too. The rod is about what I expect out of the Abu rods. Sensitive and strong. Any of yall tried out the z03 yet?

There is an ounce of truth to all of my stories. Some just get embellished a smidge. Like when I climbed Mt Everest in a jock strap with no oxygen mask. I mean thats true. Granted Mt. Everest may have been a female I met in a bar in college. And I may have been beyond the point of fall down drunk.

I saw a set, but didn't know if they were worth the money. I will look at them more closely though.

I love Michelin tires. They last forever and a day. If these were gonna be long term I would definitely go for Michelin's. These are just for a year or so, until I decide what I want to do height and wheel wise with the truck.
